I am kind of amazed that no one is mentioning puting the blue or white Defilers in this deck. They would allow you to reduce the mana cost by X life gained per turn, then play them for only 2 white or blue mana. After that, you can pay 2 life to reduce the cost by one white mana, one blue mana or one of each. Then create a soldier token and draw a card depending on the color and type of spell cast.
Their ability only working for permanents is really what gave me pause. I could see them working but our best cards are instants and sorcs 🤔 but would be interesting to try out as a “mana rock” of sorts
Another great card I don't see many people talking about is Steel of the godhead. Giving Will lifelink and unblockable allows him to ramp himself safely.
A thing that confuses me is does will, scion of peace reduce the total cost of the card as long as its white or blue.. or does it only reduce the white/blue pips in a cards cost?
He actually doesn’t reduce any of the pips. He only reduces the generic mana cost of the card, for as long as it’s either blue or white. So for example, if you’ve gained one life, and you wanna cast a spell that costs 2UW, it’ll only cost you 1UW
the vizier is worth considering. I was just wary that it might be a little slow since it's a 3 drop (same MV as Will) that needs to survive a turn cycle. So what might happen is we play out a lifelinker on T3, we play Will T4, then on T5, we either play the Vizier and wait for turn 6, or cycle it away and get our one-time boost like a ritual. I included some untappers in our Rowan deck (Magewright stone, Thousand Yr Elixir) which I think curves nicer with Will, but I decided to go a different route in this deck and focus more on lifegain since there are more payoffs related to it vs. going for the explosiveness of untaps which I think Rowan benefits more from 🙂appreciate the comment tho man! 🙏
yeah it's real lol and don't forget, it's a lifellinker too! I've never really seen it survive past turn 4 when it's played as a one-drop though. It's a removal magnet!

Oh yeah, that’s pretty good. That Vigilance coming in clutch 😜
You did a fantastic job dude. Really used a wide variety of cards.
Appreciate it 🙏 thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it
It is my understanding that [[Resplendent Angel]] is one of only two male angels in MTG. Gonna have to proxy that bad boy!
I was shocked that the cheapest is like ~$30+ 🥲 proxy away, friend!
Stoked to find your channel! You are now my favorite Filipino MTG content creator!
Oh wow! Thanks man 🤩 I appreciate it
I built something similar to this. I won with it tonight. It needs more card draw but I got to 207 life.
Sick! Congrats on the W 🙌
an incredible deck, dude!
Appreciate you man! 🙏
In my deck im throwing in beacon of Immortality bc it is life gain so it just throws a massive cost reducer
Low heat index? Not in my pod 😂
🤣 yeah, after you see one turn with Will, he probably isn’t as low key as I originally thought
@@MTGJanktown Exactly haha

@@MTGJanktown thank you! I played the deck like that last night just in case and it still worked great 😂 azorius storm became a thing
How is teferi the only untapper in the deck? No vizier of shifting sand?

Is it possible to tap will multiple times to double your 3 cost less mana into 6 and so on?
yes, if u untap Will and then tap him again (at sorcery speed), you'll get double your discount 💪
Blue has some great untap effects, like Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura
Is serra ascendant real? Can you turn 1 drop a 6/6 flyer in commander?
all too real, my friend

This is great. But I may change it a little and add thoracle style win cons
Glad I could help! 🙌
