BRAVO!
I love the way you teach.
5 this is a really useful technique. I’m going to use it on my current project. What a gem! Thx!
Thanks for this bro!!!

Yup! Thank you for watching 👊🏼
great vid thank you bro
Anytime ! Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
u da best !
awesome video thanks a ton! it’s easy to push things wider in headphones bc it sounds so good, but definitely need moderation lol.
100000%. I definitely used to go overboard with this early on, but as you get deeper with mixing you realize less is more, especially for mono compatibility purposes 🙌🏼
Thanks!
You’re welcome Chris!
thanks
Thnk u sir
Anytime 👊🏼
nice one
Appreciate you!
Love the video man! Quick question on individual elements such as your vocal. Is it okay for phase cancelation to be going on. Or is that more an issue for a master itself? Been really messing with the imager and trying to understand everything. Thanks
Phase cancellation moreso happens on individual sounds and how they combine, moreso than on a master. For example, by manipulating an individual sound, you may create latency or other frequency specific issues that then clashed with the phase alignment of another individual sound which is playing at the same time. This especially happens the kick and bass / low end as a whole. You can create weird phasing on a master by pushing processes like this too far, but a bigger concern is definitely on the individual track level. Here’s an older video I’ve done about correcting phase issues: ruclips.net/video/7rr8Vn2GvGU/видео.html
How do u record your tutorial vocals while showing a visual of your session simultaneously?
Can i use it to widen just the snares in a finished stereo mix or nah?
Great video 👍 but a minor confusion here. For eg. I need to sidechain my vocals to the beat... When will i do that. Before this imager or after🤔
For me sidechain is always last in the chain, that way it’s for sure prioritizing one sound over the other without interference from anything else.
For maximum clarity, you’d put the stereo imager BEFORE sidechain, but also towards the end AFTER other processes like EQ, compression etc. for me it’s generally 2nd or 3rd last on the chain - so stereo imager, followed by limiter, followed by sidechain compressor as the final plugin for example.
@@5piece thanks for clarifying my confusion 💚 You are the best teacher in this world giving away premium information for free👍💚
is it bad practice to use Imager on the Master? should i only be using it for specific instruments?
The stereoize function is not needed...if you turn up all the bands you'll be able to hear the dramatic change happen easily.
Why? Can you please explain?
Stereoize function is needed only if the source is MONO. On stereo tracks no need to activate.
Ty bro this will help so much mane. Check me out if you want.
your instrumental is sometimes out of phase (?)
Thanks!
Appreciate all the helpful info bro!
So sorry for missing this but thank you so much for your support! Means a lot
