- In today's video we are going to install the Evotech Performance Frame Sliders on a 2021 Honda CB650R, they also fit a 2020 and 2019 model.
WARNING: Make sure to periodically inspect the bike to ensure that the. bolts are tide.
Frame slider crash protection moves the point of impact and abrasion away from the frame, controls, and other vital components, helping to keep your Honda 650 from costly damage. They can potentially save you thousands of dollars in repair costs after a crash on the street or at the track. The robust delrin pucks aid in absorbing the initial impact of a fall or crash and promote sliding instead of catching, helping to reduce damage to your motorcycle. For best results and maximum protection, we highly recommended installing other crash protection components along with frame sliders.
The Evotech Performance Frame Sliders install onto factory mounting points so you don't have to worry about making any modifications to your stock motorcycle. CNC machined aluminum hardware holds high performance polymer that is meant to take the brunt of damage whether it is a parking lot tip over or low side.
Features:
Installs onto original mounting points your motorcycle
High-performance engineering polymer
CNC-machined for a precise fit and finish
Aircraft quality aluminium
Durable powder-coated finish
No modifications required

A terrific tutorial video. Nailed it on my first try.
I am waiting for mine. Those look so nice. 😁
Nice Video.
A bit worried about you tightening the bolts without using a torque wrench. Surely Honda has torque values listed for all the fasteners that you could've looked up. This eliminates the risk of overtightening and damaging the threads.
Got the torque wrench now
What is the torque specs??
NO TORQUE WRENCH tightening = BIG MISTAKE. Very dangerous if not enough torque, and if too much, you can break your motor cylinder head (2000€), or break the bolt's thread... Dont make such vidéos if you dont know anything about mechanic basics. a motorbike is not a toy. 🔥😉
Awesome tutorial video! Very easy to follow. Will these also fit on the CBR 650r or are they only for the CB?
For CB the part number is PRN014292, but for CBR they come with additional brackets and have different part number PRN014422
Manufacturer part number for frame sliders used in this video PRN014292
Please make sure to periodically inspect the bolts on your bike and stay safe.
When you bought this did it come with 2 pieces or just one? Thank you
2 pieces.
Good job)
Thanks !
Hi which is right and left i was confused. Saying left and right from what point of view? When you ride the bike or facing headlight? Which is left and right
I ordered them but got two 120mm bolts instead of one 90mm 😠
What you need to doo is lay the bike on its side to see if these actually work.
Thank you for the video. Is it a 70mm or 17mm socket?
17mm socket
@@NYDStories thank you for your reply. Could you please tell me what is the size of the Alan key that you use to tighten the bolts after installing?
@@johninflamez the biggest one in the set. thats what it is for me
What is the torque spec on this one ???
