- A demonstration of the principles behind ultraviolet light, and some of the things you can see using a UV light source. For my students in media technical theory at Ryerson University Toronto. RTA School of Media.
When you look directly at the source of a normal blacklight at a laser tag room, or a golf course room, it looks like such a beautiful deep color. Colour sensors and the camera itself prevent us from seeing the beauty of UV when looking at the screen.
thank you! very educational reminds me of old science vids like shown in classrooms i love it
So if I make designs on frames with highlighter markers will a last a long time?
NOW I UNDERSTAND WHAT KEEPS ME SAFE FROM VOLATILES AT NIGHT
BOZAK 115 you came from dying light too? XD
DeathStalker5446 Wow, that was an old comment.
BOZAK 115. yeah i know XD
you guys both excited for the new dying light 2 ? :)
I was about to type "Anyone coming from dying light?" 😂
2:10-2:20, most uncomfortable 10 seconds of my day.
imgur.com/a/fG9eB made this meme just for you
Can you do one where you explain different nM UV ight and why some interact with some fluorescence and others not? Or point me in the right direction please?
Can infrared pick up ultraviolet. Also can speed cameras IR pick up UV? night or day
Ok so if UV light emits photons ... can we see photons??? I was looking at a uv light the other day and when I looked close enough I could see Multiple little things moving and jumping around like I was seeing the waves jump around the objects it was under... I don’t know if that’s normal or not but I’ve been searching the web for an explanation and haven’t found one yet...
What elements also glow under this light?
uraniu
M
thanks man, really cool
ooooo very cool
i just got my new ps2
Very nice.
Thanks!
Why does the UV lightbulb itself glow when it is on? Shouldnt it be invis?
They don't 'glow' they flourese (emit). The working wave length of uva is 365nm, when you shine that onto a florescent material it then converts/emits that wavelength in to a visible wavelength (445nm being indigo to 650nm being red) if they did glow you wouldn't need the black light.
Low wavelengths knock electrons off, or put them into their higher energy state, it makes them glow pretty well. I believe they're better at glowing than just the pure darkness
i think you just gave your passport to the world
I really want to know too
Cool
thats very interesting
I wanted true UV light that is used to purify water etc... Oh well, subbed ya anyway cuz I love science.
are uv tattoos safe to get?
Boom.
So the real answer would be that by oscillating electromagnetic fields at a certain frequency it produces uv light radiations.
i searched uv light hoping for dying light but i got this and im happy
UVA and UVB are used medically to treat eczema and psoriasis.I don't think that UVC is so used.
Dude its not invisible its just our retinas cant detect it
Darkness is light in a certain level of light
at the end his teeth glowed
thats called invisible :/
Original video
you all can uv
it is majicle
the sound is not good I am quite disappointed
thanks v interesting. tip of the day...you need bog roll mate :)
Hi
it didnt workkkkkkkkkkkkk
Ur can not be seen
.
no they don't you silly person.
ali what's this talk
So yes black light does exist and Lucifer is that light
Nope. Cause Cancer. Be careful.
