I live literally in the middle of all this, my condo is seen several times. But for some reason, even walking by all this stuff every day, I never go in. I’ve only been to independence hall and the liberty bell (actually inside) one time.
I used to frequent the area in college and it was my hangout . The funny thing was I had absolutely no idea that it was a famous area. It’s kind of like being friends with a person but not realizing he’s a celebrity

Oh and another thing we keep a big secret and Philadelphia cheesesteaks are really cat food don't tell anyone.
You are correct another gentleman designed the flag. A signer of the Declaration of Independence from New Jersey named Francis Hopkinson. In the video you’ll notice I mentioned frequently sewing. She is a seamstress of the flag and she is the one who assembled it. Also notice that I started walking from the courtyard where the original house was actually located. I do make a clear distinction that she sewed the flag hence I use the word seamstress. I did not say creator or designer on the tour since yes that is incorrect. If you take our live walking tour, I go into more depth about Francis Hopkinson and the documentation of his design. But since this is an abridged tour we need to pick and choose.

I am planning on being there for the Marine Corps 250th anniversary 2025. Too bad Tun Tavern was burned down in 1781
Make that trip today lol, you might be mugged but you will surely meet tons of homeless people and drug addicts. Philly is my home city.
The same ships that also may have holded slaves, who need more recognition for building America.

Just like the British in the war of 1812 did to the White House

Huge fan of the Founding Fathers, except for Hamilton. End the Fed, God Bless Aaron Burr!

It's,'Skuul-Kill", NOT, Sku-kool-
Not sure if you were trying to insinuate there wasn’t a “peaceful transfer of power” in 2020/2021...I detected a bit of snark.
No. I can assure you that Jenn was not being snarky here.
The Federal Reserve should be dismantled.
What about the history of all Philadelphians? This is why we have to advocate for inclusion. When we don't, the entire history and true history is removed!
I think a lot of them came into Ellis Island New York and even Baltimore harbor.
