The fact that command can sign off on a warrant is extremely laughable. This is the same thing as “We investigate ourselves and found that we did nothing wrong.”
Problem with letting judges approve warrants is that currently on nopixel you are lucky if 1 judge is around. It would mean people need to run after the DOJ for days just to get a warrant approved that lasts 5 days. Just doesn't seem worth it. In a perfect world ofcourse you would want the judges to approve it
@@halothecanadian8073 for PD's side in this case DNA actually is enough - they have a SOP or whatever that states if you see a person throw something, you may confiscate it and run the DNA and push a warrant. Now I do think this somewhat promotes "Lazy RP" because in that specific situation CG threw the bags out to confuse the PD and it worked out because 2 units went to look for them and during this time they lost the other cops pursuing. So it was a really good idea to confuse the cops and gain an advantage to get away but now they still get punished because of the DNA
Dna off a duffle bag is pretty shit way to use the dna system. That being said i swear that loki cop said they found more than 1 duffle bag in the area but only 1 came back to mr k.
DNA adds some spice to police RP.. the cops are just shit at using it for RP. The best scenario imo is collect the DNA to build cases for the RP. But grabbing DNA to push a warrant by itself is the part we can agree is wildd
@@christian.boxlife949 yeah I think if used properly, dna is a great addition. But if we're out here just testing any object in the city and pushing a warrant over it, I think it's dumb.
They found two. One of the bags they purposely let fall off the highway and get found. That bag had Hazel and Taco’s dna on it. The one Zolo tried throwing down to Patar was thrown wrong, and landed on the highway above. Ruby grabbed it and found Mr K and Zolo’s dna. All 4 got warrants for it.
You could have easily been walking the streets and had the duffle bag fall next to you “a la” Stanley yelnats in Holes. Looked through the empty duffle bag and chose to leave it. Case dismissed. Beyond a reasonable doubt needs to be reminded to these judges. Just use your brain
They simply need to have a type of Warrant that is a "Perpetual Parolee Warrant". If you get caught: like in this situation, all the items are seized and documented ( K's inventory of illegal stuff ); then, Given that it's neither reasonable to push forward with the charges nor is it possible to do a trial, a "Perpetual Parolee Warrant" is issued. Such a warrant would never expire, and the individual would be tagged with a "Ankle Monitor", just like a "Parolee". If a "Parolee" goes offline and then logs back in, an OOC message is automatically sent to PD/DOJ, and then person will eventually get OOC called to proceed to Jail/Court: When the appropriate parties are available, so the original encounter can continue. The only exceptions, roughly speaking, would be things like ' HUT ' charges or other significant charges that might encompass exigence circumstances: where releasing the person would potentially allow them to destroy evidence. At least, this would allow people to continue to RP and carry on, without just standing around in the jail cells: where neither the suspect nor officer can do anything, within reason, to take appropriate action. < It's basically just making a new warrant that is based on the original warrant and carries with it all of the additional charges found during the initial arrest/investigation. >
@@legacythrasher5627 Yeah, It's perfectly reasonable for PD to use what is available to them: in the effort to arrest criminals ( in this case, DNA )... And I feel it certainly needs to be brought forth to trial: given that the precedent needs to be established. { DNA found on an item, alone, is insufficient to charge an individual for anything tied to the item. } < It quite sincerely is the same precedent that K set, when in court against Ruby: GSR Positive indications cannot be the sole evidence to charge someone. > There is merit to carrying forward this ' issue '; but it's rather controversial when the use of game mechanics play a significant factor into the circumstances. There's no counter-play to DNA, GSR, etc... It would be different if you could wash an item after using it or wear gloves to prevent DNA from showing on an item. So many issues could be resolved by implementing simple counter-play measures for both cops and crims. High-speed PITs and Ramming shouldn't be a thing; but given the SOPs, suspects know that they just need to drive faster/ high-way blast: to ~effectively prevent PITs. This could also be pretty easily resolved by giving PD a tactical tool: The Grappler ( A Real-world Device ), which would offer counter-play to help arrest a vehicle traveling at higher speeds. If you saw the ATM/Tow-strap mechanic used on Prodigy (back when CG and everyone played on Prodigy for a few months), that's what PD needs... But, it also needs to have limitations/couter-play < Such as the Grappler tow-strap having a possibility of breaking when the fleeing car swerves or tugs on it: aggressively/repeatedly.
Now this would be like getting some one to get the dna on the item then drop it to the target a warranty. The target has to be high command and some cops. I bet they won't issue the warranty.
The issue I have with the DNA system is that there is no way for crims to go around it... like wearing gloves. Getting shot on a scene and leaving a fair amount of blood evidence actually makes sense but holding a duffle bag would not leave enough dna to even test.
As a lawyer, i can argue both sides, from cops side it is - Picture of guys holding bag --> Bag thrown out of window seen by Officer --> DNA on Bag of Mr.K --> warrant From K's side - There were Multiple people holding bags --> K was not present their(as he didn't get caught so can't prove it) --> he may have given the bag to someone there. --> So it is NOT possible to prove beyond doubt that K IS the one who did it. Personally K's case is more strong.
@@imthet04st88doesn't matter, it's a bag. If you cannot even prove K was in the chase, how do they know he didn't drive by the same location 15min later and throw a bag. That's essentially a warrant for littering 😂 The DNA system should not excist, since it is never used as it should with extreme causion. Because NP PD.. and that's not gonna change. DNA is so stupid to even have in RP, like you're telling me that robbers didnt leave a single spec of DNA while actively robbing the laundrymat but somehow leave DNA on a duffle bag?!?!? Wheres the sense in that? Then add on going through with this would set a wild precedent that basically you just need to hold someone up and tell them to throw an item, then later rob something and throw that same item, basically meaning that someone who wasn't involved will get a warrant cause their DNA is on the thrown item. Like how do the cops and the judge that said the warrant good not see how dumb that possibility is??
Horrron now this is why I love talking to cops cuz even they some times mess up the cop with the glasses just said he was on scene and recovered 2 bags one of which was described as the first bag that was thrown from the car then a second and can even remeber where the bags were but then tells you he didn't recover the bag that had mr k's DNA on it hmmmm

How likely is it that they normally run the DNA on an item in a situation like this and don't push a warrant UNLESS it's CG? I think that is very likely. Thoughts?
Damn i missed this yesterday......i only watch about an hour or 2 of stream and CG were already taking Ls constantly......i guess yesterday was a skip day, they should have just layed low, it was one of those days.
