- Finally got a chance to get a video of Skd for you guys
Bought this a few months ago, rescued it from its blue doily doom
Going to get it back to looking the way it should, really nice old car and turns more heads then anything ive ever had

Wow. Brings back memories. Dont ever try to do a Skd in a RT40. Back in the day you could find the twin carb manifolds. They were rare back then. That funny screw on that sparky thing was octane adjustment. The vacuum advance curve was set by the factory and determined by the mass of the governor weights. The adjustmet screw with the painted bands was octane adjustment for all the different countries and fuel types this little buzz box was sent to. And dont try doing skids with the std diff. it wont take it
Classic JDM. You have to restore this fine piece of machinery.
Nice old shovelnose corona, looks like a 32/36 Webber. I’d also chase up the original fan shroud for the radiator helps keep these old girls super cool in our heat
