I wanted to write to you for a long time and I will say wow!!! “Believe” track is simply divine, atmospheric, nostalgic and at the same time powerful, conveying a huge love for life and freedom. When I heard this piece of art I couldn’t stop listening to it. Your track gave me goosebumps!!! I will never forget your masterpiece! Thank you very much! Such beautiful and talented authors like you inspire me to write my own music and never give up, but go forward to my goals! Thank you very much again!
The Final Piece and Believe are my favorite. The textures all around "The Final Piece" with the emotional progression is really beautiful. This really bumps up my motivation to peak. "Believe" climax part is also gorgeous with all those vocals
This kind of work is really awsome and genuinely creative. Most music commercially released are generic and aren't very appealing for getting emotionally connected to. It seems your team has some quality taste in music and art. Nice job, and keep on creating.
This really is marvelous work. You've captured this RPG-like video game vibe without sounding like anyone else. Feels like Jeremy Soule and Nobuo Uematsu's love-child
If there's a music video for "believe", I probably wouldv'e watched it. Been searching for it from where it came from. MV? Movies? Game? And then I've found this. Absolutely remarkable. Oh how I wish "believe" was a music video so I could immerse myself. But overall this project is something else. Different. Truly far beyond something what people do to express this ball of emotions.
To everyone who follows TOTF, we have been getting various questions concerning lots of different things about the project. Whether its scheduling, work flow, or future content, or anything else. Because of this, we will be doing a Q&A video on 6/28 to address these questions. If you'd like to ask anything, tweet at us @TOTFproject with the hashtag #TOTFquestions and we will answer any and all questions you may have. You can also reply to this comment with the same hashtag, or visit our FB and comment on the Q&A post. Cheers! And thanks for all the love for the tracks. ;)
#TOTFquestions I've just finished reading the first episode and I quite fancy the concept. I've always wondered If you could combine literature with music. It blends quite well. Though could you add a picture of the characters?I think it will help with the visualisation. I find characters hard to picture.
We're always looking to be able to do more artwork for episodes. So it's definitely something on our minds. Unfortunately budget is always the issue. :(
abdul fattah it is definitely more of a thought we are trying to conceive, we are really excited about Episode III, which we feel was a good balance between landscape and character.
Can you describe this video with one word? Yes I can, its "Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing" You can't believe how those music can inspire you with positve thoughts and help you to refresh your mind. Moreover, I like the background of each music because its change the atmosphere and it takes you to a new world (place). So keep going new await. Suggestion: You can create some music with rain background it will be amazing.
OMG You shoudl release 'Believe' as an individual video in its own right - fabulosio awesomnio!!!! (Or have you already and I'm just soooo behind ) :)))
They haven't for the reason being Believe is an overarching song for Episode/Chapter one, My Status is Living. And no, you're right on time actually! This is where the fun begins. Every Tuesday for the month of June they will be releasing something new. This is the first time they've done that and I'm thrilled to see this grow and expand.
That's awesome to hear, Gwen. :) Aside from my parents, you're the first person who's opened their eyes through my involvement to this beautiful, new, strange world.
Gwen Marsh I'm about to bring some other friends into this. My hope is that this will grow big with a little bit of everybody's help. It already has humongous potential! There's nothing like it that I know of. Two Steps from Hell recently did a book and a soundtrack and some art, similar in style but genre different: Colin Frake on Fire Mountain. I've yet to read/listen to it, being a huge fan that I am. That's why I think some of my TSFH #EpicMusicFamily friends will love this, knowing Colin Frake and great music. Very few people in real life that I know like epic orchestral, but here on RUclips, it's filled with them.
is this music it's own story? it feels like watching treasure planet again. i am on an adventure where i go does not matter for it is the wind that compels me.
Bought it on bandcamp and I love it. I love the chapter and I love the music the 2 combined make the story so much more enjoyable. Thank you so much you two and I hope so can eventually release more episodes or even the whole book/album!
Thank you so much! We're so glad that you love the chapter as much as we do. It really gives the depth to the music and push it to the next level. Thank you again for sticking with us :D
Tales of the Forgotten no problem! you guys were my inspiration to take up reading science fiction novels again. Like I said I hope that eventually I will be able to read a physical copy of the entire book. But for now I hope that you can do more releases like this one. Good luck guys! :)
+Ace Leon Hey Ace! I wanted to buy it last night but was unsure if the purchase was just the 4 or 5 musical tracks or that plus the chapter in words. Could you verify this please? Thanks!
+RosemarieCat 1701 When you make the purchase on Bandcamp, you will receive ALL the music along with a PDF of the written chapter. Apologies if this is not clear on the purchase page. We will make sure to address this. But yes, you receive both!
The sfx are beautiful! So what's the deal? The music is time mapped with reading speed to make the story more engaging? I don't know if it's intentional or if it's just me, but I never really understood what the end product for this project was supposed to be.
Hey Mythix, think of it as either a concept album that has a full story (that you can read) accompanying it or a sci-fi novel with a soundtrack album. It's not time mapped with reading speed, so you don't have to worry about listening to it along with the chapter (you certainly can though and we encourage you to try!). The EP acts more like a summary of events, feelings, and atmosphere of everything that happened in the chapter. Hope this helps!
Came here via RosemarieCat 1701... this is absolutely brilliant and enjoying very much. I can't make out if this is music for a video game, from a film/TV, a book maybe or just fabulous epic music - just use your imagination..... Thanks anyway, fabulous work!
I suggest going to their site. :) My favorite track is the second, aka Ground Zero. Check it out! :) I discovered this on Easter. Welcome to the beginning of the world of Tales of the Forgotten!
Hi :), yes, I have literally JUST listened to it, it's a phenomenal track! The chords and harmonies in 'A Friend for Thoughts' are just beautiful, almost magical. However, at the moment, I have really no idea what Tales of the Forgotten is, there seems to be a whole bunch of different tracks all within the same title, no part I, II, etc but I'm enjoying the music anyway and that's the most important thing. Thanks again Rosemarie :)
Gwen Marsh Yes, A Friend for Thought is very beautiful. The music is getting more and more feels and I'm loving it. After I discovered Prologue:Forgotten and Ground Zero from the epic music channel HDSounDI, it took me a week to look at the site. I just enjoyed the music so much to not take that first leap, until I did. Take your time, let your mind absorb and imagine the music, but don't wait too long.
RosemarieCat 1701 Me too. Once I have listened a few more times and to some of their other work, I will probably post to my G+ channel too, this is another way to expose to the public. Shame that the link between YT and G+ has broken
Hey Abel! Thanks for the comment. The stories can all be read here: www.talesoftheforgotten.net/episodes/ Each episode is also available for purchase on our site's "store" section!
The music is not made to be synchronized with the text as we don't want to guess our audience's reading speed and try to match it. It's more like a summary of what happens in the chapter. So you can listen to it before or after reading get a better idea of the world and the atmosphere! Enjoy reading :)
Ski mask Remy This is a cinematic saga that incorporates literature with beautiful artwork and music. We release episodically (episode II is out now) and you can take part by checking out our Patreon at www.patreon.com/totf

Nice job, and keep on creating.
Thanks man! We appreciate the love. We hope with consistency, we can make TOTF into something big and beautiful. :)
Pretty immense textures and atmosphere, amazing starting episode. Great job guys.
Thank you sir, we hope everyone enjoys it. This is something we really want to try to continue to do in the future!
Please keep up the good work!

At 1:20 the notes are so similar to Gate Of Steiner, it's just so much I can't even

Tales of the Forgotten Perhaps a cost efficient method would be to have the characters included in the art like in episode 2.
abdul fattah it is definitely more of a thought we are trying to conceive, we are really excited about Episode III, which we feel was a good balance between landscape and character.
Can I use Believe for a tribute?
im love with believe.
Same, same, same! I'm so glad I bought the Episode and know what it's about now. :)
I come back to this shortly before one year since finding this music from TOTF and I'm like damn...... It has been hella ride with TOTF's music :D

If you ever do another kickstarter to get this on a larger orchestra I'll totally donate-this is awesome!
This is absolutetly wonderfull ! The narrative, the music, the world. A real dream ! Props to everybody who's involved in this project.
My body was not ready for this!
OOOO Well this was a fine thing to stumble across!
Wow... just wow.... is fantastic! Very impresive work guys!!!!
This is beautiful
This is breathtaking! Immediately pulls you into another world; such a beautiful atmosphere~
So beautiful thank you
This was definitely a great starter, a job well done, and the music was as beauty and surreal as always. Fantastic job you guys.
Brilliant, thats an understatement for how good this is.
I love your music and the entire concept of this project! You guys are doing amazing work, I'll be sure to spread the word!

RosemarieCat 1701 Great, perfect! I've already subbed their channel and will look forward to their next new upload next Tuesday. :)))
That's awesome to hear, Gwen. :) Aside from my parents, you're the first person who's opened their eyes through my involvement to this beautiful, new, strange world.

You guys should really have this narrated as an audiobook. Would be soo cool with the soundtrack in the background! :D
Emil Skriver agreed! That is something we've talked about for some time. You never know ;)
I could imagine that, keep up the good work! :D and remember to get some air guys, geesh you must be working hard :P
this really helps for my writing. thank you so much

+Tales of the Forgotten thanks for the response! I like the idea. Listening through all of this now. I'm intrigued enough to purchase this chapter
Why wouldnt you sell this beauty on itunes?
Can I use Believe for a tribute? Please? I'll give you credit.
