- Journey to Stansted Airport to pick up the daughter son in law and grandson from their holiday in Turkey, normally a 2 hour Journey turned into a 4 hour Journey, what a nightmare, ended up being diverted off the A12 down a single country road for about 2 miles but the problem was that people from the other direction were being diverted up that same road, how hell do they expect cars to be able to pass each other when it’s a single rural road, absolute chaos, anyway made it in the end by the skin of my teeth, was planning a nice food review at a decent establishment but ended up at McDonald’s half a mile from Stansted, so not really what I was planning 😂

I was there a couple of weeks ago mate..
There is actually a 1hr free car park in the Mid-stay car park, follow the signs for set-down..
Totally free & your pick up will get the shuttle bus to it, once they get through customs...
Last time I was there I did it with 1 minute to spare it took them ages to get through customs on that occasion...
My journey was around 2hrs.45mins, a blinking nightmare lol 🤣

@@fatandy From the A120, head for Mid-stay car park, grab a ticket from the barrier which will take a photo of your number plate on entry...
Once through, head to set-down car park mate 👍🏼

Nothing worse than being stuck in traffic, Andy. We were stuck for 12 hours once up here in 2010 due to heavy snow. Torture! 😂

Yeah I have been that way before, normally I do find the A12 quicker but in this case it went pear shaped 😂😂👍
I think a Double Cheeseburger was £1.29 when I last bought one. I often used to buy 3 at a time. A bargain at the time. I have no idea how much they are nowadays. All the best to you Andy 👌
Well I never bother with them only if I’m doing a review on something I’ll go to McDonald’s, but yeah definitely a lot cheaper a few years ago 👍

What a nightmare journey at least the weather was good that’s how it was here yesterday. Rip of Britain let’s go on holiday by plane you pay for your flight then get charged for being dropped off / collected just like at the supermarkets no club card Lidl app and the rest of them and your are going to get ripped off what is happening to this country . They will soon be charging us £1.00 to stop at a petrol station to fill up . Anyway mate I hope you have a better journey home and when you are hungry anything tastes good 👍👍👍
Hi mate yeah journey home was good did it in two hours, yeah really wanted to do a decent food review but had no time in the end, yeah everything is a rip off in this country, even McDonald’s car park if you stay over 1 hour they charge you £100 and then if you leave in that 1 hour time limit and return within 30 minutes you end up getting a fine, absolutely crazy 👍

Arrived from Istanbul to Stansted airport yesterday. Passport control lanes miles long , walking for miles to get to passport control to leave. Absolute JOKE, it's a DISGRACE 😡😡😡😡😡no supports for disabled people, no automated escalators, pitiful transfer system, long walks from planes, a real disgrace, that airport should be closed down and automated and management fired instantly. UK airport like Mogadishu standards with pitiful staff. 😡😡😡😡
Sorry to hear that, i know it’s bloody expensive, yeah this video I done was yesterday around 1.15pm I picked them up, that pick up and drop off what a rip off they must make fortune out of that place

happening far too often, closing roads completely ..i get serious incidents etc occur ..but they didnt close them like they do now in the 80s.. what sort of motor do you have sounds meaty ..dont answer if ye dont want obviously.
