Man... sounds beautiful.. this is close to the sound I'm looking for.... I'm gonna pull the trigger on one of these and order it. I want to put some thomastik nylon cores on it like I have on my michael kelly 5.. can you post some more vids of you playing this? I loooooove that sound!
What is the recording signal chain? It's a very good but slightly direct sound. (has pick up sound and acoustic blended?) Acoustic recording of bass or bass amp speaker can?
hey dude! as far as I recall this was a direct line from the bass or amp blended with the micd up cab. the amp at a pretty low volume that's why you hear all the string noise.
Great playing man. I need to get at the lead socket on mine as it’s loose...Any idea how to get in there please?...I saw you get the GoPro in but can you reach it ??
thanks! I haven't tried to get to the output jack, in theory you should be able to reach it if you have a thinner arm, through the soundhole or maybe even through the electronics cavity if you unscrew the preamp compartment :)

I have a Behringer BLX 3000A Workstation Cab and Vamp pro bass rack mount,tho I must admit I like to play the Alien just unplugged,but want to try a few things hence the need to get the jack socket sorted..... You know I once had a problem with the control unit and Warwick said if I didn’t want to send it for repair and could do it myself they’d send a new unit,I agreed and sure enough they sent it!..Service or what?!!
yep, it's an all Warwick rig - LWA1000 amp and 2 1x12 NeoPro cabinets, I am a proud Warwick endorser as of a couple of years, love their stuff! yeah, I think the best thing is just send them an e-mail asking them how to go about tightening that output jack :)
