I have my referral link. When someone joins under my referral link, the page will be redirected to a successful page. When someone lands on the successful page from the referral link, it should be considered a conversion. Irrespective of clicks or impressions, it should not be debited from my Google account. I only want to pay based on conversions. To achieve this, what campaign can I choose?
Thank you for the upbeat bulleted video easy to watch & understand have tried running 3 different preformance max campaigns the first to never got off the ground the 3rd one is booming so I am starting a new one today & neede to find a quicker way - I think this will be a tremendous help.
Thank you for the lively, easy-to-follow video with bullet points. I've attempted three performance max campaigns; the first two didn't take off, but the third one is thriving. Starting a new campaign today, I needed a faster solution, and I believe this will be incredibly helpful.
Hi Aaron, in this video you decided to go with maximize conversions value bid strategy and I've done the same for my new campaigns, however my Google account manager recommended to switch to maximize conversions instead to enable Google AI to collect maximum data. What is your thought?
Today I initiated a performance max campaign with the recommended budget of 250$. It's a campaign with no goal setup suddenly it took all the budget for the day within 20mints even before the campaign starts running. Please explain what should be done to avoid this kind of unnecessary spend? It shows some clicks around 311
When setting up one of these i get this error when trying to complete/create the campaign "Cannot remove goal because a campaign must have at least one conversion goal." anyone know how to fix this?
Wondering if anyone else is running into this issue but I'm trying to run a few search ads and my headlines aren't displaying correctly. So, headline 1 and headline 2 are being combined or headline 1 is being matched with description 2. This makes the ads look weird even in the preview. I'm thinking there's some misunderstanding on my part about how these pieces work together. Any advice? And yes, I'm pretty new to Google Ads.😊😊
I have a client that write copy for and I manage their Google search text ads. She offers beauty services. Would this be a good option? Performance max?
Thank you Aaron for this insightful video. Questions: if from the beginning a single Performance Max campaign had been structured with multiple asset groups defining different categories of an e-commerce business, what advice could you give to restructure these asset groups into separate Performance Max campaigns? When restructuring asset groups, should I keep the asset group that works best in the existing campaign which has over a year's worth of data? Should I start from scratch and lose the data accumulated in the existing campaign? Thanks for your time and help!

Starting a performance campaign solo can be worthwhile, but success depends on factors like your goals, target audience, and budget. Consider your resources and the specific metrics you aim to improve through the campaign. It's crucial to plan strategically and monitor performance closely to make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Did you watch the video? He says he recommends FIRST to have a campaign (Search or Shopping) with at least 30 conversions in 30 days. After that, you'd consider adding a PMax campaign.
I am working on picture framing business My pmax campaign is showing inaccurate datas for the same conversions that I used for non pmax conversion.. why ??please suggest
Hello! If i have 2 different ad groups inside performance and in each ad group i have different products categories for example ad group1 has book, ad group2 has toys, when i choose lets say 4 sitelinks extension for books those extensions will automatically appear also in ad group2 where toys are so no relevant information. can i somehow change that? thanks in advance
Great video! I have a question. I sell furniture online and am considering running a Performance Max campaign. Would it be a good idea to create one campaign with multiple asset groups, each focused on a different product category? This way, I can target each category more effectively with tailored creatives.

Im spending 150 per day on performance max. It was performing well from oct- dec. now the last 2 months I started losing money on it. Should I scale it back to just shipping ads? It’s a niche sporting goods company.
When this happens to me I normally analyze by each Asset group which ones perform the worst & where is Google Ads spending money on a product that doesn't hit the ROAS I want. If you do that and eliminate the ones that are just costing you money you will be fine soon again.
Does it make sense in your opinion to run a Google Search campaign to e-commerce products priced between 20-40€? Or is it too low ticket for search ads?
No problem. The price of the products doesn't really matter, just keep an eye on your cost per conversion. Decide how much a conversion may cost you and still make money. I'd test it. And keep optimising. Good luck.
I've spent about $7,000 over the last 6 months on an agency, (plus ads cost). They have me in performance max, even though there are only about 2 conversions a month. It's a high value product. Sounds like this is the wrong type of campaign for me?
Is it still ecom or lead gen ads? If its leadgen i would recommend to not use pmax. And also with 2 conversions a month you are going to burn throw all the cash. PMAX makes sense when you have hundreds of conversions and not just 2. Seems like the agency doesnt care, might as well check account history to see how often they change somethign to improve.
Loved it , do you use Performance Max Campaigns in Google ads to generate Leads? Only search ads are enough right? To generate leads, inquiries, and appointments for home service businesses?
Hey YES I do BUT if this is for a business that has a small location target area I stick to search & display only (due to better targeting options). Plus I always start with Search as I don't use PMAX until we are getting 30+ conversions a month
Thank you very much for this tutorial video. I have a short question. I already have an ongoing campaign. Google is suggesting to convert this campaign into a performance max campaign. Would it make sense to do that? This way, I wouldn't have to wait for a long time.
I thought the same, but I wanted to make sure. That's why I created a new campaign. Thank you very much for the information and response.@@AaronYoungGoogleAds

Hi Aaron, I have two Pmax campaign, one campaign for all products, another campaign with 10 asset group categories, do you think i should turn off all products campaign?
Nice video, one doubt - In terms of Google Map ads, do we only have the option of running Performance Max campaigns or can we also run Search Ads to show our GMB profile?
I have come to the conclusion after multiple meetings that not all advice should be followed blindly. Working for an agency I noticed that high spending ad accounts get the more experienced representatives and therefore better advice. Some things they advice you on are related to make you spend more on the platform
Great video as always. My question is; how many asset groups do you recomend in a P.Max campaign? Is 6-7 to much? On my site I have developmental toys (0 - 3 years), other smart toys for 3+ kids, and board games in 1 main category. And then devided in to 4-5 categories based on the toy. Is it ok if i make 1 campaign with an asset group for all the toys, then 1 group for babies, second for smaller kids , third one for kids kitchens and so on? Or should i make a diferent campaign for each one. Thank you so much for your time and help, Blaž.
Hi Blaz, you can structure your campaign as per your suggestion - no need to make seperate campaigns. Let’s say you are spending 300+ daily and you want to allocate the budget to your wishes then you could do that. Personally I structure my campaigns based on the categories, but I also factor in the search volumes from my keywordresearch sheet.
I have my referral link. When someone joins under my referral link, the page will be redirected to a successful page. What kind of ads would you run for Storage Facility Units? There are multiple locations.
Great info! Could you do a tutorial for PMax campaign to promote RUclips Channel?
Can we maybe get a video explaining how to Set up conversion tracking for shopify :)
yeah this will be nice :)

If you want to generate leads i recommend you dont use pmax. Other campaigns will be better & cheaper with higher quality leads.
Hey, Thanks for this video you are great. But still i have question for you. :) Can i run 2Pmax Campaign together or this is bad ? :( I'm not sure with that.
You could. What's your reasoning behind it?
I run often 3-5 different pmax campaigns. So if one tanks the whole account is experiencing less of a dip in general.
