If he actually got custody of Jasmine, he would completely break her mentally and emotionally. Also, I can never understand women who want a man that ignores his previous relationship children, any person that will treat their child bad to get into your good graces is not someone you should want. A red flag or character default is never to be ignored because it's not happening to you yet.
I laugh when I saw the headline of this drama clip. My father NEVER came to see us (my sisters) play sport at school / university - hockey, tennis, netball, athletics, swimming, drum majorettes, gymnastics, piano concert, dramatics. He did however come to watch a hockey match when we hosted a school girl named Liz, who visited with their school team from another country. He watched and supported Liz, because, poor her, her parents were far away. She was in the opposing team of my older sister who was in the our schools first girls hockey team. My sister played for the state and still plays hockey to this day. I’m so proud of her. The duplicity and betrayal of some men sickens me even 20 years later
After having seen this whole drama years ago (forget the name of it), I believe her biological father had no problem abandoning her because he has always preferred boys. I'm curious about how this character, if he ever has a biological child with this new woman, would treat that child if it were another girl (in comparison to how he treats the boy). (this never plays out in the drama, just my curiosity.) If I were the new woman, I would have broken up with him after witnessing his clear disregard for his biological child, and how he only reacted when another man was taking his place. It is a clear sign of how he would eventually treat a child/children he has with her if they ever broke up.
