The key is not to remain in one place. Give each spot 20min max waiting time. The honda fit needs minimum 3k fuel to be efficient. Fill up in the morning and it will take you all day. Avoid offline trips (once you go offline especially on uber, their algorithm will take at least two hours to actively factor your account) and night trips with this car. Total loss. Drunks will cost you your account on night trips. The business is to put food on the table while you wait for a real job. You cant pay school fees, medical bills or build in this industry. If you are a professional it is great for marketing your other skills, services or retail business.
The sweetness of this job is owning your own car and not by loan. And the secret of this job is loitering here and there. Don't stay in one place for an hour. Choma mafuta tafuta kwenye clients wako.
Uber business is not easy as people think just get into it and u will tell us , when u drop or pick up in Cbd and find yourself in kanjos hands , u go to places where there are no returns the uber and bolt will take between 25% to 30% commission , the low fare rates , bad roads where u change tires, shock absorbers , tie rods , bushes now and then , fake spare parts damn it’s crazy , the apps will block your account for the mistake of a rider , uber driver is like ur held hostage on all sides
Be patience this job ni noma kama we ni mtu wa roho dogo hutatomboa but I pitty you you joined the industry when it's dying but jikaze even me when I started I was waking up at 5:0AM
I was in Karura for some time. When online cabs arrived in Kenya with Easy taxi then later Uber, I onboarded. Things went from bad to worse with the price reductions, under cutting and unfair business practices by the online companies with little thought for the investor or the driver. I quit in 2017, sold my car and went to do something which makes sense. Unless you have no other option, keep away from driving for these online cabs.
It’s not the best because once you get a car from Mombasa by the time you finish paying lots of challenges so utakuwa kwa loan forever in this business

Same sentiments as his. Honda fit is supposed to be in comfort uber category.
They need to correct that

He is complaining and yet he is still there
His car looks nice
The problem is he came to the industry with one leg in and other elsewhere...if you put energy completely,it can pay
Ok can someone tell us the truth about how much can someone make in uber business
2k ikienda sana 3k profit
25000 to 30000 net per month
Depends with your car and your work ethic and strategies
Seems like this guy is impatient. Three months is very little time to start complaining. Things take time
Time which no man has
