There are 5 categories when it comes to Canadian french. There is full blow Quebecois who either lived in Quebec and grew up speaking french or spent time in Quebec long term. Then there are the french immersion kids who learned french but total immersion in school. Then there are the people who did french throughout high school and can carry a conversation but probably don't have their pronouciation mastered due to not having the best teachers. And there are the kids who took french until it was mandatory and know basic words. And sometimes you have Canadians that managed to avoid french their entire lives and their exposure was french on the back of boxes in canada
thi is Awsome! xD i already knew he could speak french beacaus i sang it and i read his book and it said he had to tranzlate to his grandpa and his great grandpa! >:D
Jonathan Shaw he was never an ass but just that likeother people too he went through some dark phases of his life and now he is over those thimgs again .so beimg a human you should try to inspire people and encourage people to get better and to have a good life .
Julia Fad Have you ever been to Quebec or New Brunswick or even Eastern and Northern Ontario recently ? Canada is NOT an English country. It is a bilingual country with an English-Speaking majority.
Only 21% of Canadians are francophones... Anyways, Justin was born in Ontario which doesn't have a lot of francophones so it doesn't matter if he speaks French or not.
@saffroncakes95 un petit peu de francais is "a little bit of french". I live in canada and at school we learn french. yes, quebec speaks french but it is MANDATORY to learn french from 4th grade until 9th grade. I don't know how it is in france, but he doesn't say "peas french", he says a little bit of french.
@nwcoastlife I am from Manitoba, and I went to french immersion school. Sadly I have since lost my french because I never use it. But I agree that the country isn't truly bilingual, however I don't think we should force it. People should be free to speak whatever language they want.
@animelionking It's still known as French... The Mexican Spanish is different than Spanish from Spain, but it's still Spanish. English in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada is different than English in the UK, but it's still English.
@saffroncakes95 it's mandatory to learn it in other provinces. I'm from ontario, for example, just several minutes from Stratford (where justin is from), It's called Waterloo.
@aquahottie503 He would have only done it up til high school and in Ontario we really don't stress the pronunciation of words (unfortunately) in elementary school, it is mostly vocabulary and learning to conjugate verbs.
@MorgaanFREAK well in some schools there are french classes and you can learn french there or if you go to a french or canadian school than you probably will learn it.
@EvilDictator99 Well, I'm French and american and he's got the accent that it takes. Plus, even if he stumbles on words, it isn't his first language so it's understandable.
@lukefroberto Yes it's true, but there is not just Quebec where French is spoken, there is also the New Brunswick (a province of Canada). Otherwise, I think the rest of Canada (English), they have some basic lessons in French in their schools, but not enough to speak it perfectly. :)
@AykaZawani Not all Canadians are fluent in French. Mostly we all have to learn both languages in school but some get better at both languages and others don't.
@T2thunder Actually 30% of the english language come directly from the french so you all speak a bit french ;) French is spoken in 7 countries in europe and 32 in the world . When you once started to speak french you don't want to change your language look the Quebec and the creol on louisiana , even in italy french is still spoken in valle d'aosta .
Ohh gosh! He's actually good at French. I mean like I live in Ontario to but it's been like 3 years since I have been required to take french. But I'll always remeber the French verison of oh Canada! Lool! I feel so French when I sing it! Lool

Parle pas trop bien français pour un canadien, issu de francophones, mais c'est un début.
Canada is an english country so idk why ur expecting more from him... It's still kind of the second language we learn in Toronto!
Julia Fad Have you ever been to Quebec or New Brunswick or even Eastern and Northern Ontario recently ? Canada is NOT an English country. It is a bilingual country with an English-Speaking majority.
Julia Banana Mais non ! Canada is a bilingual country ! French and English share equal status ( outside Québec) and are protected in the constitution.
Only 21% of Canadians are francophones... Anyways, Justin was born in Ontario which doesn't have a lot of francophones so it doesn't matter if he speaks French or not.
