Bound by a dangerous secret, best friends Sarah and Kemi are forced to go on the run after a wealthy groom disappears during his engagement party.
So...the thing is this...if you are in an abusive relationship, please do not confront the individual. Leave, steal away. You don't owe an explanation and you don't need a discussion. Get away, be safe. Leave the stuff, get new ones or have someone collect them for you much later. But please, prioritize your self and your safety.
Great Advice 👍
Good one
Well Said Ma'am👌🙌🙌👏👏💓💓This is so on Point

Well said... the person has already proven that they do not control their temper, so confronting is putting your life in danger.
Trust me when I say Nollywood is the future for Africa and beyond!!!!!!! Great cast, great story line and oohhhhhhhhhhh I know I know every role had the perfect act!!! But let’s give it up for Kemi!!!!!!! She outdid and over did herslelf on this one! A standing ovation for Nancy Isime!!

Just finished watching the series omg it’s a classic masterpiece 🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A great movie all round!
From the colors to the acting to the thrill....it was a strong 8.5/10.
Beautiful storyline and an amazing delivery!
Timeyin was my favourite...She practically ate her role.
I watched the movie today and l enjoyed it, however, l sensed something was missing🙄...On one hand, lt felt like a cultural story on voiceless abusive women in vulnerable relationships. Then, you have the forensic script followed by the psychopathic organ harvester. All in all, l will say it was refreshing to see how the two ladies/victims effortlessly played their roles. Further, l will rate the lady who acted as the drug addict 10/10---she was a natural. 👏👏👏
Nothing was missing!
To this day, there are families in their tens of thousands in Nigerian, who have reported loved ones lost, with no traces whatsoever of such people ever being found!
Indeed, this movie opens up a vista of such possibilities occurring in our African societies , possibly for decades by now!
This series was amazing 👏
This is one of if not my favorite african netflix production. The storyline, the acting, the suspense, the fashion, the culture. It was lit from start to end. I'd like to watch it over and over again.
I liked that it depicted how abusive relationships are in reality and the external factors such as parents(in this case the Duru’s ) also have a role to play in all of this.
The fact that as a mother, your first reaction to your daughter being beaten is to chest it up because of the benefits you derive from the other family is appalling but true.
This is the sad reality almost everywhere.
Our friends or family tell us “stuff” they’re going through and we make them brush it off and tell them to focus on the good side and not the bad.
When is the right time to focus and eliminate the negatives/ bad side?
That bad side that is disturbing them would slowly eat them up until they’re no more.
We have to make a conscious effort to ensure that we listen when the people who are dear to us talk and not impose our own ideas on them but rather navigate the situation healthily.
And to think that her daughter almost died of strangulation on her engagement day if not for her friend's intervention. You are so correct, it is high time we start listening to our loved ones in abusive relationships.
Such good acting wow

She is not marrying you Kola!!…………lef matter!!
The lady made a mistake .. the guy has money agree to marry him then after a year divorce.. u cannot leave the same day of the wedding. .. he will not allow u .. it will be like u disgracing him n his family
Really? How are you sure she will survive that one year. All you think about is money ehhh?

Thelma and Louise
Great series ...one of the best from Naina...but did anyone else get annoyed by the detectives fake accent !!
That has been his accent from the times he acted in British tv shows, if you're not use to it say so. Stop sounding as if you know anything
@@thetraveler2644 u can educate a person without being an ass...thanks for the info!
A bit of slapstick to make the film tick over nicely!
The accent and the character weren't necessarily out of place!
In Nigeria, people have returned from many other countries in the world!
If u will not marry someone u shouldn't schedule a date for marriage and wait till their family are gathered before you withdraw, you should do it earlier, quietly and respectfully. 🙏🙌
Did you watch the show?
You wouldn’t say this if you did..
@@luckymatty5048 I didn't watch the show, yes, but abuse in a relationship is what one shouldn't take and wait for a day to make a decision. One might end up before that day.
@@eniyeikporo Watch the show and come and edit your words period. You're commenting like an outsider without seeing the build up
Something prompted her to take that decision, and it had to be dealt with immediately there and then.
Their make up was way too oily and too much on their faces jeez. But great movie overall
It's too hot in Nigeria. Any makeup cannot last more than 3 hours before you start sweating again.

Too much nude scenes. This is not our way!
Exactly my thought. That bathroom scene was unnecessary in my opinion.
No vex abeg... which nude scenes?
What of Hollywood u watch every day
@@selineebuka1340 that’s exactly why he said “not our way”. This is nollywood love, not hollywood. be guided love.
@yoj you’re the one who’s clearly stupid and down right dumb. you must have the IQ of an orangutan. He said “our way”. is our way the hollywood way? aren’t Africans naturally conservative? learn to read english and try understanding it too. ps, saying it’s not the African way does not mean that the show was not good. clearly you must’ve dropped your senses when you started typing the rubbish you just wrote.
I watched the movie. Everything is on point, just that I did not really feel anything was new to me. The script could have been better. This is an opinion, as in 1 in a million. Please no one should come for me.
Yes alot of polishing could have been done. E.g the way they conviniently took the body out of the hotel, it wasn't convincing enough, and many other little errors here and there. Just some polishing would have fixed all that. Nonetheless, it was a great movie and I enjoyed it. Bigups Nollywood.
Write your own script make we see.
@Naija Belle🎵 they posed as hotel staff, that's why it was easy. They were wearing the staff uniforms, so what are you saying? Nobody will suspect a staff member going to do laundry.
