  • This was our first ride of 2024 in the Utah mountain single track and it did not disappoint! It was also my first ride in mountain single track on my new 2024 FX350 Husky! I loved every second of it to say the least!

    Gorgeous video! I LOVE that whole trail system but I’ve never actually ridden this trail! I’ll have to add it to my list! And if you ever need riding buddies let me know! I’m up there every week!

      @@trailrideutah I used to go every Thursday morning and most weekend but I got hurt last week on a ride in WY! I’ll be off the bike for a bit letting stitches heal. But shoot me an email and we can link up! I’m a 2T guy but I’m so curious about 4T in the mountains!

    That looked like such a fun ride! Beautiful trail, and I can't agree more with having a bike that you really love, it compounds all the positives about a good ride!

      Absolutely! Having a bike you love makes all the difference! I love trying different bikes, I think last year I rode well over 20 different bikes on single track and they all rock, but having one you really love makes all the difference!

    love my fx350, it works everywhere. it is a little soft at the track but thats me not setting it up lmao. trying to fix that now. only issue is that it does rev out really quickly. for example on track my friends are chilling in 3rd but im going up and down on third and 4th, and in the desert im forced to 5th and 6th alot

    My primary bike for the last 3 years has been a 2019 FX 350. I love 350's and it is easily my favorite engine displacement. Any 4 stroke race bike will stall/flame out easier than a 250 or 300 two stroke, but there is a reason the majority of pro xc and gncc racers ride 350's. The 350 shines on any flowy trails whether they be in desert or mountains or Southeastern woods, and is only at a minor disadvantage in very knarly rocky steep sections. People back east do not know what knarly and steep means unless they have ridden out west. I am upgrading to a '24 KTM soon and will not be buying another Husky as the Braketech brakes are trash. In addition, the shorter suspension will be more difficult to find someone who knows how to tune it. I will be going with a vortex ECU to reduce flameouts and reduce engine breaking.

      @@jackieonassis7438 I’m glad you took it as intended. I’m dyslexic as heck. Can’t see my own errors but everything else sticks out. I wanted to joke about how those engines can’t be stopped from breaking. LOL

    I'd love to do some riding up in the Utah mountains! I'm up in northern Arizona and would definitely make a trip up there to ride with you guys if you dont mind an "outsider" tagging along.

    Do the husky’s fx ride lower than the xcf? The husky now has brembo brakes and clutch?

    Did you revalve or change springs? Pretty stiff for single track in af isn’t it?

    first question is what's your weight. I'm around 200 and wondering how the stock suspension would be for me. second question is what dealer will give you the best deals in UT?

    • @trailrideutah
      @trailrideutah  2 месяца назад +1

      I am pretty light. I weight 160 and it’s soft for me so you would probably need to do some suspension work. I would say the edge. I got a solid deal!

    Is a 350 a good bit tamer than a 450, my brother has a 450 and its way too powerful for me

    • @trailrideutah
      @trailrideutah  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes it is, quite a bit. It has a hit when you need it but it is so much more controllable and comfortable than a 450. I am pretty light so I feel a lot better now that I am on the 350

    What’s on the front fender? Love 2 strokes. Hate how loud 4 strokes are if I’m not the one riding it. LOL. I’m looking into a 4 stroke for my next bike. Sherco 300 or maybe a 350 from the Bavarian triplets. Interested in the 250fx with the 270 kit. Thanks for the video

      That's so awesome man! I honestly love them both but this FX350 has been great! I am coming off a 2023 300XC and trying to decide which I like better.... I have hear good things about the shercos! The thing on the fender is the Husky CUO or control unit. It is basically like the Yamaha power tuner where you can use an app to change engine mapping, track maintenance, etc. It is pretty cool but pricey.

      I have the Sherco 300 4T. For myself, I love it. Bought it new in 2020 and still having fun. I also have a Beta 200 2T. The Husky 350 is a beautiful bike. That Sherco is so balanced and LIGHT that it feels like a 2T. The Husky definitely has more HP.

      Anyone know the differences between xcf and fx models on 24’ plus? I’ve heard there’s suspension differences.. husky rides lower but has the same travel? Also the husky now has brembo s? Is it brembo brakes and clutch? Any other meaningful differences? Looking at the 25s as I heard they aren’t quite as stiff to replace my 21 250fx.
