I love the verses we unpacked about how and why we live this way. How we are waiting to see Jesus and this is how we are meant to live during our time on earth. I also love how you pointed out being a wife/mother is a ministry - I never thought of it that way but it's so true!
Also never thought of being a home maker as a Ministry. The way God spoke this through you, has made me have a whole new and wonderful view of being a homemaker ✨😁
This simply means a homemaker (being at home full time) to devote yourself to your family is not a burden but a calling. Thank you so much for this video!
Soooo glad I found you. Your delivery is so pure, simple and to the point. You don't belabor each verse and each word but yet you thoroughly recap what was read and point out the meaning as intended to be understood. Thank you for your ministry. My goal for 2022 is to be closer to The Word and read it/hear it/practice it more diligently in my life. I truly love The Lord and I need to show Him more in my living and life. I randomly chose the book of Titus and that is how I found your channel because it popped up. I am grateful and thankful. 🙏🏾
I am just loving your teaching style! I love how you take the time to break down almost every verse. Thank you for doing these. I am sharing your videos with so many of my friends.
As I’m studying Titus, I came across this as I was interested in hearing the study delivered by a woman. I really appreciated all you had to say and how well organized it is.
I like that you pointed out that a woman is not just meant for marriage and for taking care of the home :) and also that although it isn't our only calling as women, that it isn't a burden
favourite verses - "In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us." Titus 2:7-8
This also great chapter to study for challenge at this time of are church's and corinvisus outbreak thank God for all his grace. Mercy and love but still trusting God for victory of the churches and the nations.
This study was beautifully, carefully, clearly done and I was blessed for being a witness to same. God bless you in your journey and mission in His kingdom.
15:00 I believe the idea here is that older, married women have experience and can teach and guide the newlywed women on how to submit to and love their husbands, how to keep their home, how to love and train their children. It wouldn't make sense to have a mentor who did not have experience in the field you are called to. So, while the men can help, it is definitely our jobs as seasoned wives and/or mothers to be the main support and guide for the younger married ladies.❤
I noticed how in 2:11 “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.” Titus 2:11 NIV is actually talking about Jesus since Jesus was the one that appeared and offered salvation.
New subscriber here! I love your channel! I am also a christian youtuber as well!! :) This video was beautifully done. What font do you use for your thumbnails? Like for the word Titus!
I never saw this before but on ur video fast forward to 8:26 and watch closely by ur left shoulder small little ball light fly by like a orb or somthing maybe a angel check it out
I really liked this video but I wanted to leave a comment on one part of your breakdown. In regards to “they are teach what is good so to train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled, pure, working at home, kind and submissive to their own husbands,” you said Paul is talking about how the role of mother and wife and homemaker is an important one that should be revered. I agree that this is probably something Paul believed based on other epistles of his but in this particular passage, Paul isn’t making any comments about the value of women. He’s making a comment, or giving an instruction, about female to female discipleship. Paul is saying to train, teach, or in NKJV to admonish (which means to warn or advise or urge someone to do something) young Christian women to be pure, to be good, to be modest, to be kind, to be submissive, to prioritize marriage and motherhood, to pursue homemaking & to be modest. He is telling older women THIS is what you are to teach younger women. If you are rooted sound doctrine, this should be the natural outflow of what you desire to teach young women. He calls us to be teachers but he also gives us a curriculum. It’s not up to us to decide what to teach, God is clear on the message. Another thing is in this portion, you mentioned some women being called to a career. There’s nothing wrong with women working but God never calls anybody, man or woman, to a career. He calls some to ministry, to church leadership, to be missionaries, to serve in his church and he calls all of us to evangelize. But God never calls anyone to a career. He certainly never calls women to a career. For example, he called Luke to be a disciple but not to be a physician. Luke could’ve been an accountant or a garbage collector or a fisherman, God’s calling was about his soul not his bank account or occupation. Our career is a choice we make not a calling. Especially for women… it’s a perfectly fine choice to pursue a career, but I think a lot of young women can get stuck trying to figure out what job God calls them to do when God just doesn’t operate like that. God’s calling for women is super clear and a career just isn’t a part of it. That doesn’t mean careers are bad just that they’re choices not necessarily callings.
@@Ppodhomestead Proverbs 31 is an anti rely different passage written by an entirely different person. I’m not saying women aren’t valuable or that that’s even what Paul believes, just that this particular chapter, Titus in general is not an epistle that comments on our value. It’s about discipleship and how Christian’s ought to live. The Proverbs 31 woman is also NOT called to a career. Read my comment again.
@@nanao22 she is called to work and make money. What's the difference? And, though its a different book, you can't separate the Bible that way. The Bible is a whole thing, that is completely complimentary. One verse doesn't negate another. They work hand in hand.
@@nanao22 the word career may not be used in the Bible, but it's still work. And I fully believe we are called to specific careers, as we are called to work. We are told what careers not to have, and God gives us the desire of our heart to lead us to the career He wants us to serve in. I didn't just wake up and decide to be a baker. God put that desire in my heart, because that is where He has called my work to be, therefore that is my career, and I use it to honor and serve Him.
@@Ppodhomestead I disagree that we are called to specific careers, I believe God’s calling and will for our lives has more to do with His Kingdom than with our resumes. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t or can’t guide us but I can’t think of a biblical example or scripture where God calls anyone to a specific career. If you interpret the Word differently than that’s fine, this isn’t a heaven or hell issue 👍🏾
Hey Nicole Titus 2:5 to be self-controlled and pure this is for women to live wisely and be pure to work in their homes to do good and to be submissive to their husbands then they will not bring shame on the word of God if you don't teach correctly you go to hell for it and you my friend is false teaching King James to be discreet Chase keepers at home good obedient to their own husbands that the word of God be not blasphemed
Okay but seriously those verses we unpacked at the end were INCREDIBLE! 🙌🏼What was your favorite verse in this chapter? ✨
I love when the bible remind us that we are in this world but our home is in heaven with Jesus and we are waiting for Him to come take us home ❤
i needed it all. getting to caught up things of the world. politics and all. this is speaking to me. thanks sweet girl

You help me understand Titus so much better. Even though Titus is short, it's usually overwhelming for me.
As an English lit student Bible studies are so fun 😂❤
Also as a greek person, reading the verses as the original makes me feel more blessed 😅
Promote the kind of living that reflects the right teaching.... I love this.. 💘
