    I wished he would have skated around a bit and did some more mellow tricks like flat ground and nose and tail slides before he went straight to a trick that would obviously snap the board.

      I feel you this review is more about if it could snap I’ve skated these boards before and they hold me up on every other trick I’ve even tried to ollie off a 5 stair and it dint break will do another review soon

      @@joey_walder you're a pretty good skater fam. I'm sure most of the people that watch you LIKE to see you fall and break boards. But you would give a lot of people, large AND small some confidence and encouragement if they saw a video clip or two of you actually landing tricks. Witch would probably help them get over any insecurities they my have about riding there skateboard.
      But great vid fam keep up the good work.
      And I still want to see if having RAILS on your board would stop you from snapping them so fast.

    Good board review, I was honestly more hyped on your skating and being able to front lip which is a hard trick in general, regardless of age gender or size. Just subbed and can't wait to watch your other vids. Keep it up fam

    Not sure if you just couldn’t get the rail or if you were just flat out trying to break it, but I’m super impressed that you have the balls to skate in public at that weight.
    I have had so much prejudice being fat. I was skinny my whole life and had no idea how messed up cruel people could be until I got health problems that made me fat.

    cool content. test it to the extremes. Try a powell flight deck, too. Also, I'm down from 400lbs to 259 and skating better than when I was a kid. I'd highly recommend the keto diet and lots of walking like 7K steps per day, every single day,. You can lost a ton of weight and you'd take your skating so next level. Keep up the skating dawg!

    They advertise the board as 5x stronger, but if that deck wouldn’t have broken from a 150lb kid doing that, then if it really was 5x stronger it seems like it should be able to handle a 400lb adult. Still, it looks decently strong. Respect for going for the lipslide that’s a decently scary trick to get down.

    as a bigger guy i feel for you, man, a flight deck might be a bit better? 400, i don't know that's big time baby! stay away from rails, sick with shallow bowls and ramps and back side to angle, will be a much softer slide on to ass than a blunt force buck, dude. also I've got a xootr scooter classic maple ply board on super strong aluminum frame that i'll zip around on it holds 800 lbs and i highly recommend. good luck and happy skating.

  • @nightcat87

    Instead of trying to Ollie and land front side bs. Try come from left side of rail and kinda manual your front trucks over rail and get used to approaching the rail slow and then you can speed it up to where the board will level itself out smoothly. So slowly approach rail and kinda manual front trucks over rail and then hop/scoot board level on rail. Once you're used to the approach then you can add speed and board slide with no problem. The fast Ollie hoping you catch it just right that fast is risky. Kinda start off slow by just rocking front trucks over rail and then you can do it faster. Hope you're still skating. One Love.

    Probably would of had a regular board slide but going for the lip I was ohhho..👊

  • @TheAndonian7
    @TheAndonian7 Год назад

    Lipslide is really risky on that and chances of it breaking are higher than any other slide cause it's a lot more forceful when getting on the rail. Especially if you are on the heavy side. I'm a little bigger myself and when I throw front or back lip I feel the board slams on the rail harder than a typical board slide or front board. You Ollie higher to get over the rail and not get hung up, then get on the rail. I feel like it would be more fair to judge on some flat ground and less harsh slide cause I'm still curious lol

    • @joey_walder
      @joey_walder  Год назад

      For me, I feel the Lipslide is a great stress test on the board considering these boards are marketed to be stronger than the average board (especially with my weight). I did do a vid on setting up a Chocolate Pop Secret where I skated some flat for a bit.
