I wonder how many students in this film went on to write a bestseller?

I agree, but if I can get a free ride I'm going. I want the degree so I can teach as an alternative.

If you get rejected repeatedly from the Iowa Writers Workshop, does that mean you should never write again?
What is the point of writing if you know you will always be an embarrassing mediocrity?
