Writing is tough, but the best advice every writer ever will tell you is: do the work. Just sit down and write every day, even if it's garbage. If you spend all your time just thinking like a writer and thinking about being a writer, you're already dead as a writer. Sit down and do the work, end of story. Stephen King doesn't believe in writer's block; neither should you. For many would-be writers, this is merely something they tell themselves exists as an easy way out for not writing, and so they can play the tortured writer cliche. Don't be this person. @@coffeebreakfiction1765 Hi! I am! My old comment actually makes me cringe a little because of how long ago it feels. I saw your new video! I watched it as soon as I did, I was surprised there was a new one after such a long break! Welcome back :)
Your writing is a living, breathing thing. It is a Masterpiece waiting for the world to stare at it with awe and wonder. It is waiting for you stare at it with awe and wonder. Now go tell your writing you love it. I'm not kidding. Do it. See how much better you feel and how much easier it is to move forward? You're welcome.
I'm fourteen and I've been determined since I was six and in first grade. I vividly remember my determination and insistence to write, and I've never let go of that. I am going to write a published novel and it'll be on the bookshelves of many libraries, they might even need two copies so they don't run out. I could go to bookstores that sell my books and secretly autograph them. I'll know when I get there, but until then, I'll just keep writing.

As a writer who has been going through a pretty grouch time sitting down at the machine to bleed, I thank you for making this video. It came to me when I needed it most. I watch it whenever I feel I have lost my way and I then sit down to my typewriter, or my computer to bleed. Because that is what writing is, as Hemingway said: "There's nothing to writing...all you do is sit at your typewriter and bleed." I've had a rough time of creativity since I wrote my last book and have struggled with what to do next but I have a clear idea of what to do now. So thank you; thank you very much
I found this video either some time last year or the year before that, I can’t truly remember since I’ve watched it more times than I can count and it’s done wonders. There’s something about this video, seeing the writers we so admire struggling and telling us it’s all about sitting down and DOING the work, the music, the touch of insanity in every scene, that makes one filled with the energy to explore all the vast areas of their own imagination at 2 am. Every time I need that boost in motivation, I come and watch this, thank you so much for making this❤️

Thank you so much for this. I needed this. I’ve been writing since I was eight years old. Started writing online at twelve years old and after numerous years of practicing, I’m now eighteen and halfway through my first novelle. Got a second book in my mind. However, I was forgetting the power of words, but this video was really inspiring.
Thank you for this video! I love writing, and cannot do without it. It is my way to make a difference in this world. I was not writing for this past six months, and I was very moody and upset. This video set me back, thank you for that!
I have been returning to this video during every single writing project for two years now. I seriously can't thank you enough for creating this. I love editing film and I see the work you put into it. This has been a pivotal tool in my work as a writer. Seriously, thank you.
Five stars for this video! Six very short minutes to help break that occasional writer's block that hits every one of us that call ourselves authors. I may never find my name amongst those listed but that will never stop me from banging the keyboard as I work on each new story. Write on!
Even if you never make it to be one of the "greats" in this vid,if your work is seen by someone or anyone anywhere then if it helps them then you're already on the path to making a change and just remember that you are the difference and the change to the world
This is, without a doubt, the most awe inspiring, masterpiece of a video I've seen in a while. There are literally chills running up and down my shaking body right now. You don't understand how much this 6 minutes and 11 seconds has affected me. Thank you.
This is the greatest motivational writing video I have seen, I wish there were more. Thank you for uploading this, it truly is extremely satisfying to watch.
Absolutely amazing video; I can't imagine why it doesn't have more views. This is the best source of writing motivation for me. Also, bonus points for the Zack Hemsely song. Love it!
What helps me is that I usually write the ending or key parts in my stories first and figure out how to connect them. If I start at the beginning I overthink things and never get started.
I'm almost 45 years old. For some reason, my interest gravitates towards all those movies you present here. I've always had the feeling that I needed to write. Yet, life forces me to play this 9-5 job to pay the bills to exhaustion. I guess I'll have to start soon or else...
The. Best. Writing montage video I have ever seen. Please make a constant stream of these so I can mainline it like heroin into my veins to overcome what I've got going on in my life.
my greatest motivator for writing came from anime when I was a kid. I was amazed at how much more open anime was to complex stories at the time compared to the TV I was presented. Comics, manga and anime provided a window into adventure where most American shows either sold you a toy or wanted you to be a good citizen which isn't bad but it sometimes felt flat and emotionless but those who did inspire me left a lasting impact on my life. As I am now my biggest push to be a writer comes from My little pony friendship is magic. There's a line Rarity says that resonates with creators she is a designer pony who works to achieve her dream of being the best tailor in the world but she has to battle a lack of inspiration. Rules Of Rarity is a song that any creative should hear because it shows you that the writers of the show know exactly what that's like and it pushes you to seek out not only encouragement but to push yourself and free yourself from the weight of expectations.
Writing it's a journey that it's endless there's so much to tell but yet only a few will understand words become alive and will make a change into one's spirit if only we will allow it.
Great, great, great, great video. Finally something that motivates people in an exact field (not only the bodybuilding, the internet is filled with just that..) and finally something for me exactly to play on repeat each and every day. Please, more motivation for writers !
Five years later, I'm still at it... For anybody else in the hole, clawing their way out, with a key pad, one letter at a time, going through the deepest, darkest pain, just to get this treasure out, from the heart- you are not alone- I'm here with you
My journey started 6 years ago, an amateur who seeks a way to lash out the pimped up emotions I carry due to depression. Something magical happens when I pick up the pen, as if the world blurs and the paper is a person willing to take every thought I tell, and so I wrote. Now, 6 years later, I'm a director, scriptwriter, a journalist with multiple awards, and now a novelist seeking to publish his work. I never dropped the pen, I just had so much to tell to this paper that I kept on writing the stories i've heard, made, and will ever hear or make. Writing is a task indeed only demons undertake, and honestly if that was the case, then I'm in hell's darkest pits. Yet I couldn't stop, so long as the pen had ink and I never ran out of stories, the paper will always hear something about me. So I became the man who talks on a sheet of paper, just like the greats, the novices, and those who came before. It's tiring, but it is the burn of writing that drives me forward to at least drip every bit of ink that I could ever let flow.
This is so deep powerful and inspirational.....I'm gonna come back here every time I feel lost/hopeless and aimless in despair...like an instant cure to unfulfilled and unsatisfactory "blocks",etc
Wow, this video tells many thing about the writing ideas. And the first scene was just happen on me while i am trying to write anything, haha.. Thank you so much for share this great video. You are great too.

That's great to hear. I have a new writing motivational video today
Absolutely brilliant video!
Thank you. I really appreciate it.
What helps me is that I usually write the ending or key parts in my stories first and figure out how to connect them. If I start at the beginning I overthink things and never get started.
I remember watching this a while ago. And I’ve decided to come back because I need it right now.
Well I'm glad you liked it. I released a new video today actually.
Very inspirational
I'm glad you liked it.
I watch this every day and keep pushing to publish my book!
That's great to hear. I also released a writing motivation video just today too!
I'm almost 45 years old. For some reason, my interest gravitates towards all those movies you present here. I've always had the feeling that I needed to write. Yet, life forces me to play this 9-5 job to pay the bills to exhaustion. I guess I'll have to start soon or else...
Please tell me you've started and if not... start today!!
The. Best. Writing montage video I have ever seen. Please make a constant stream of these so I can mainline it like heroin into my veins to overcome what I've got going on in my life.
Good news! I released a new writing motivation video just today!
This is just so exceptionally brilliant. Thank you a million times over for putting it together.
Bella Bamba Thank you. It took days but I'm glad you think it was worth it :)
You're welcome my friend.
One of the best motivational videos for aspiring writers❤
I just saw this. Thank you. I have had a hard time sitting down and just writing lately. This was very inspiring!
:14 "Coffee will help me think.."LOL. This is me all morning! Almost noon, and I'm still procrastinating with only 1,500 words to go!
my greatest motivator for writing came from anime when I was a kid.
Thank you for your kind comment. I actually released a new writing motivation video today. I hope you like that one just as much.

Writing it's a journey that it's endless there's so much to tell but yet only a few will understand words become alive and will make a change into one's spirit if only we will allow it.

It'll be me...............that beginning with cage is very true
Five years later, I'm still at it... For anybody else in the hole, clawing their way out, with a key pad, one letter at a time, going through the deepest, darkest pain, just to get this treasure out, from the heart- you are not alone- I'm here with you
I watch this on a regular basis. Thank you.

Just wow. Gave me idea for my next binge watch. 😄
'Thank you so much' dor for this wonderful video.
Brilliant and inspiring
I'm glad you liked it.
Please make more like this. It has helped me through a lot.
