The Canzona Serenata by Medtner played by Alexander Malofeev is one of my favorite listens. The tenderness in the music that Malofeev makes palpable is a gift.
I agree so, so very much!!!! Just alone this most beautiful Medtner piece under Alexander's magic " God-given" fingers transports us all into other spiritual realms...all above our daily life...enabling us to experience the "Unexplainable." We are so indebted to him for ALL he has already entrusted us with. Yes, he just keeps getting better, and his Desire and Need to share this all with us...is His Greatest Gift To Us!! And those magnificently beautiful flowers on the top of the right side of the piano say "everything." God Bless Him Always.......
