Not only is smash ultimate diverse in characters, but also people from different backgrounds and skin color. At the moment we don't have lot of EU rep besides gluttony, but we still have japan, mexico, the whole damn world. This is the crossover we needed. Congrats to the rising star, kola. I like the Roy/Cloud it seems a lot better to help the inconsistency issue since I do agree some mu’s it’s better to go cloud, it’s a solid pairing. I’m glad he was able to pull through to win and wish him and the rest of the qualifiers gl in the finals. Always glad to see these players doing well.

It's not exactly a phrase to go around chanting all the time because I feel that gives it more like a " black superiority" vibe. But also at the same time there's nothing wrong in taking pride in one's ethnicity or skin color and admiring when someone who shares those same traits succeeds. I feel like it is a problem though when you hold those achievements in high regards solely because of skin color/ethnicity and discredit the success of others. TL;DR This is a win for Kola, who is a black man. And while his success as a black man can be admired and should be. I don't believe It should be claimed as as a "win" for the black community.

Most esports players much less smash players struggle financially because in order to make decent money you have to place top 3 or be sponsored so in order to stay sponsored he replaced the word niggas with fellas to keep up a good advertiser friendly image.
