But it can also be interpreted/intended as "Lmao you're trash, dogwater, absolute bottom of the barrel, you wasted $60 on a game you can't even play lol, my blind, deaf, paraplegic, dementia-ridden grandma can play better than you" (obvious exaggeration, but that's how it feels sometimes.)
It's a coin toss, but you can typically tell.
It took me 30 hours to do Malenia herself with rivers of blood and 106 lvl xd

It's nice seeing really useful niche weapons like the Morningstar and Venomous Fang get some use. Love that you highlighted its power with a poison infusion applied.
venomous fang on an arcane caster is pretty nuts. equip kindred's exaltation + winged insignia, slap bloodflame blade on them and go ham
@@metalsludge8205 I used it in combination with Ekzykes's Decay to kill the Fire Giant with nothing but DoTs when I just wasn't feeling like dealing with him during my arcane build run. In an actually leveled and upgraded build, Venomous Fang is an extraordinary tool.

@@Blck-Cat I mean, he doesn't level... and isn't upgrading. Which means that he can't do the funny haha of killing shit faster. If I recall properly the other guy only had 1 hp and 1 stam and 1 hp. Making he can still hit hard he just dies to 1 miss play. This seems more interesting because he doesn't hit hard so needs to find survivability instead of kill harder faster.

The fact you decide not to use serpent hunter is actually amazing. Like I'm pretty every video I've seen of people doing this challenge all have the same Crystal Tear Bubble + Serpent Hunter combo.

I love the Antspur Rapier both in design and concept, but actually using it fell short imo. Even powerstanced, I feel like I miss the bosses so often with them.
Proccing poison, rot, and bleed all on the same weapon is insane though.
Powerstance it with the Frozen Needle and BAM! Status Effect machine!

The "Most boring build ever" challenge..
No big cheese strats or OP gear, but no overly weak weapons/gear either, you have to play/beat the game with the most perfectly boring middle-ground equipment imaginable..
Like you're disallowed from using any special strategies, super unique tactics, or rare/weird/interesting weapons/items.. It has to be the most predictable, boring, monotonous mid-tier strategies and gear.
It's obviously not a challenge, but more of a "Let's have fun watching the streamer suffer" kind of run, because he's so used to playing new and exciting ways, and loves exploring the game, but you're basically forcing him to wade around in the kiddie pool for a long while.

I do wonder if anyone suggested you the Uplifting Aromatic during this run at all since its practically a consumable Bubble Tear + 10% Physical Damage for 40 Seconds. If no one did I at least hope this small comment can help just throw that reminder out there if you needed something else in your flask rather than the Bubble Tear

I remember watching you do Godskin Duo one entire stream, one hell of a run by one hell of a guy :D
I started the game as the Vagabond with the base halberd. I stuck with it through the whole game upgrading it to +25 and managed to beat the game with it. The ash of war I used was Piercing Fang which at 70 Dex and 35 Str yields 2k damage in PVE

he did use it for choice moments - had it on for radagon/elden beast at the end. probably just saving the rune arcs for opportune moments, since he would have definitely ran out if he used them too frequently
For malania you could have used swarm of flies that with your ability to dodge waterfowl dance would have trivialised this for you

2:37 @Bushy has almost a frame-perfect roll. If you go frame by frame, you can see that Margit's weapon passes through Bushy while he's still upright, he's so early in the roll animation. Skilled or lucky, cool to see either way.

If you arbitrarily turn off the one weapon you SHOULD be able to use (minus fists of course) then why should you be allowed to use something that lets you use another item instead?

No, it literally is not.
instead of being able to use normal talismans and physick flask tears, he has to use all of his talisman slots and stuff just to be able to wield a weapon.
