But wasn’t West Virginia commissioned as a state during or right before the civil war because they believed that the confederates were wrong and slavery should be abolished? So i dont think that it’ll work
Contrary to a lot of weird West Virginians today who go around with confederate flags, West Virginia was not part of the Confederacy but rather the Union.
Hi Apollo. Brit here. Love your channel and vids. The Rebel Yell ? I need to hear it. I realise it it would have deferred from unit to unit, from one individual to another in those units. I have seen a vid showing a very elderly Rebel veteran. Poor fella must have nearly collapsed trying to yell. The Vid continues to replicate his yell tp company size. Did not convince me at all. In old Westerns, we have Cowboys yelling "yeeehaaaw" and 1st Nation feathered Braves giving a dog bark and howl. I doubt these are accurate. So, asking for you to gather the 1st Texas, with Codys' permission, for a rendition one by one, ending with Mr Lancaster. Then one last Rebel Yell by the regiment? I am a Civil War re-enacter without a regiment at the moment. I have a Rebel artillery impression and Wheats Zouave impression which can be modified to the 7th Louisiana of the ANV. More artillery please? Thanks for now. Best wishes. Rascal.
