Hi Michele, I recently was in work (I am a healthcare worker) and was emptying my bag when a colleague grabbed my makeup bag, looked at all my higher end makeup and then went on to discuss with a room full of people how much money I am wasting on makeup when I have children at home. I have never felt so belittled. My children never go without, i like to treat myself when I can and I urge everyone if you are in the same position to have spare money and feel like you want to treat yourself and you can, then do it! Don't let outsiders who know nothing of your situation shame you. I love your videos ❤️ they bring me true joy on my break times in work xx

.A great reflection for me about how much my priorities have change in just two months : I have been able to exist with very little: a couple of lipsticks , a blush , and so forth . My collection will make someone happy very soon . I don't need it. Thanks Michelle .... so that is what I have been doing all these years!!! I don't want that anymore. It is a burden now. That's how I feel too. I've been such a collector, and now although I still enjoy having some things, I don't have that drive or need to own "all the things" anymore. I'm not tempted by everything like I used to be. And it's nice. 🙂

Since your collection is growing, it would fun to see how many duplicates of a color or type of product you have. Then do a comparrison like, if you could only keep one which product would you keep. For example "I have 15 red lipsticks that are similar which one is the best and which one do I regret", a spin on temptalia's pages. I tend to buy the same color lipstick and never use them all, lol.

As far as collecting goes, it's less expensive than luxury cars, rare wines and art, morally superior to guns, and more fun than stamps and coins. If you ever want to declutter some nearly new products on eBay or Poshmark, please give us all a heads up. It's your brush collection that intrigues me the most... and makes me most envious.

Michele I was so excited to see you move the Lancome powders to be able to see and use more often. The Lancome Absolue Pearl is my number one Holy Grail powder. I am of Greek heritage but I have your EXACT skin tone. In fact I have many of your foundations in the same shades that you own...LaMer, Koh Gen Do, Surratt Dew Drop etc...plus many of your powders as well...my favs are the By Terry and Koh Gen Do but the Lancome wins out. I have tried so so many high end powers but they all fall short of the Lancome Absolute Pearl. I have several foundations I can switch between and it looks beautiful with all of them.
You have the BEST collection. I could watch these all day!

I really don't understand the Charlotte Tilbury line at all. To me its overpriced and tacky. Their adverts, with the caps lock screaming and unrealistic claims are trashy. I don't like the packaging and the names of the products. I don't know ..maybe I'm weird but I have never wanted anything from C Tilbury.

this was fun to watch but sometimes i wonder what people do with their expired makeup? how do people even keep track
Claire Ho everytime I buy something new I write the date on a sticker and put it on the back of the product so I can keep track of how old they are, especially if it’s a seasonal colour and I only ever use it half the year. When I start getting random breakouts the first thing I check is the date of my stuff and chuck out anything that’s more than 18months old!

How different do you find the red meteorites special edition compared to the original version?
A3gils I have the red special edition and the 03 from their spring collection which is apparently the same as their regular collection and I don’t find them to be much different at all, honestly even when swatching them side by side I didn’t see much difference!

Do you throw out your cosmetics based on the recommended # months? I have a lot of stuff and I feel like I can’t use it up in time and I feel wasteful throwing things away.
I feel your pain because I have seasonal allergies and every time I cough or sneeze I am fearful I have Corona I use the Glossier product as a highlighter or mix a couple drops with foundation

I have a question on this point, don't you afraid that all this foundations will be "not fresh" anymore? I have a lot but i afraid to apply them bc they are open longer than 4-8 monthes? Who can share their own expierence? Thx!
Syuzena Pitz I don’t keep them as long as Michele, but have foundations that I use seasonally and put away in a dark cool place and have definitely used 18 months old and they’ve been fine. I guess it depends on the brand, type, how you store them etc. Liquid foundation you’d be able to smell if they go bad.
You could sell me anything!

Hi Michele...what color do you have in the Tom Ford Traceless stick foundation? I ordered two from Neiman’s when they had the 25% off a couple weeks ago. I got 4.0 Fawn thinking it might be too deep, but it’s barely my shade. If one ray of sun touches my face it will be too light and the second shade was 3.5 Ivory Rose, which is way too light. I noticed you had 4.7 Cool Beige in the new Shade and Illuminate and wondered about the stick shade. Thanks!

Hi Michele!!! What a lovely collection, can’t wait to see the rest! I noticed as you were going through your concealers that you didn’t have the Armani Power Fabric. Did you not like this concealer at all or just prefer the Armani Luminous Silk? I’ve been reading reviews on both but I’m still torn. Any words of wisdom? I’m looking for a concealer that is hydrating and not too full coverage. Thanks!
I really really enjoyed this! Thank you!! I wss worried that I was ridiculous in collecting so much makeup (because I absolutely love it and can't help myself) but I always justified it because I really do use it all ...And it doesn't expire as fast as some think.
Hourglass is crazy to not have that cream trio in their regular line! I emailed them to ask about it coming back and they didn’t directly answer me of course, they just said “stay tuned for some great new releases coming” 🤔 Now is the time to re-release it!! 🤞🏼
