I am do happy I have come across your page the last few nights I have listened to rapid emotional healing while you sleep and I woke up and cried so hard I mean I cried for things I did not even know I was hurting about. I am at the beginning of my healing journey and really trying to learn to release fear. Fear is my biggest hurdle at this point. I have had so much trauma from a child that continued into my adult years that now I have a huge fear of dying. I feel like something is always going to happen to me but I am trying so hard Sarah to find peace of mind. Do you recommend any videos of yours that help with this. I am working on trying to meditate during the day without fear that something is around me. Dear Charmaene, I'm so glad you're finding support here and hope I can offer some support. Reading that fear and anxiety are the biggest blocks, I'd suggest tackling those first before going on to deeper healing. Within this list I'd suggest trying some of the shorter sessions first: Make Fear Your Friend which uses the image of calming a worried puppy or kitten, or my Anxiety Relief Mindfulness Meditation and Coaching which gives you exercises to do to calm and focus the mind (no need for stillness here). I tend to see my thoughts wander very frequently and am not sure if I should force them to stop and focus back on the video, or just let them wander freely. Both sides have pros and cons since they are both therapeutic. Do you think maybe performing a combination of the two would be good? Or should I just do what comes naturally and just experience the meditation?
Great question! I sometimes do "pure" meditation videos but almost all my work has hypnosis at the core. One of the BIG differences between hypnosis (hypnotherapy) and meditation is that in, with hypnotherapy, as there are therapeutic techniques, you can let your conscious mind chatter away, makes no difference, your subconscious will be engaged through the techniques I use. There are many different types of meditation but most commonly the goal is to be focused on the present moment and to quiet the mind. Hypnotherapy will work WITH the mind rather than forcing a discipline on you and will allow you to achieve quiet and even more, having transformative techniques that can work with very little practice (if the hypnotherapist is good at their work!). So the question is really: do you listen as a discipline for yourself or do you listen to gain some benefit / positive change / transformation? Hope that helps, Sarah

Any time. The only meditations that have a time to them are my sleep ones, when of course, you are aiming to fall asleep.
