- As someone whose daughter is a nurse at Presbyterian and, as such, treats Corvid-19 patients on a daily basis I am gratified by the daily 7:00 pm cheering. My block has been getting an extra bonus. Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell (“Ragtime,” “Man of La Mancha,” “Kiss Me Kate.”) has been treating us to “The Impossible Dream.”

That man has talent. Saw him do this on Broadway. Cried like a baby.
Loooooooooook at Brian, doing what a true New Yorker does, connecting with others from a window ledge, you Rock Mr. Mitchell!!!!!!! Your a great actor, with an outstanding, gifted, talented voice!!!!!! Thanks......for all the wonderful performances......God Bless!!!!!!
The lyrics "To be willing to march into Hell for a heavenly cause" have special resonance these days.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME! THIS MAN, BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL, IS BRILLIANTLY - UNBELIEVABLY - BRILLIANT!!!
His father was one of the Tuskegee Airmen during WWII.

What a song? Fantastic
I saw Brian years ago on Trapper John. I didn't realize till now what a beautiful singer he is. Brian, your singing touches my heart!
If butter could sing, it would sound like him. What a great voice and a nice guy.
So glad he’s well enough to sing!
Love him. He is such a old school actor. Love him in old school tv program trapper john.
I love him! what a selfless thing to do! He's the best!
I just recently discovered Brian watching Man of LaMancha on RUclips. He is so talented, has the biggest heart for mankind, and that voice!!!!!!

Song always brings tears to my eyes. Despite the reasoning for it, this must have been a treat to see and experience.
Only in New York. Encore!
What a treat. I wish I was there.
Awesome!!!!!!!
I would have lost it just to hear this
He makes me tear up most of the time I watch him on RUclips. I don’t see him on TV anymore. I hope he’ll be in another show soon.
He’s spectacular!
BRAVO👏🏻 BRAVO👏🏻🤗
Please stay well!!
OMG!
If I only be true.
Wasn’t Brian Stokes Mitchell was on TV in the 80’s?
Yes, he was on Trapper John MD. He played a minor supporting character, Dr. Justin "Jackpot" Jackson.
Yes. Trapper John. Tv Show.
Also played Trevor on fresh prince of Belair
Brian also had a role in ‘Roots 2’ as a suitor to Debbie Morgan’s character, Elizabeth, who wanted to marry her!
And something else about Brian! I think that when Broadway gets back on it’s feet again, somewhere down the road, he would make a glorious Horace Vandergelder to an equally glorious Queen Latifah as Dolly Levi in ‘Hello Dolly’! Which I saw as a 13 year old in ‘69 with the fabulous Pearl Bailey and Cab Calloway! I fell in love with them and I asked my father to get me that album, which he did! Thank you, Daddy!
If you’ve never heard ‘Hello Dolly’ with Pearly Mae and Cab, you are missing something indeed!
So let’s hear it for Queen and Brian! 😍😍😍😍😍
He was also the voice of Danny Wood on the New Kids on the Block cartoon. I learned this via IMDB last week and was floored.
