I have a 2007 s500. The radio, audio, all is good. everything works but the cd player. I get a message that the disc is the wrong format. All 5 discs that used to work, all wrong format. Any ideas? Can you guys fix this? Thanks.

Hi I have a cl550 and I found a s550 command unit same year. Would the s550 command unit work for the cl550 as well
I have a 2010 S550 and everything working except I have no audio. Nav, back up cam, and all other command functions work with no audio. However the cd changer has five disks installed and none of the red lights come one. I can switch from radio to cd and nothing happens except the screen switches. When on cd mode it just says loading and beach balls round and round. Os it the changer, the command unit, or the audio gateway causing the faults? Can you fix any of this if the unit(s) are sent to your company?
have you figure this out? im current doing the same thing on a vehicle. i purchased a use radio command

BtownOG is the used command unit working properly? The dealership told me that a used unit would cause more problems. I think they were just trying to get money.
I drive a 2007 cl550,unfortunatly i have problems with the mp3 / audio cd . Is it possibale to switch to a newer one with aux conection or BT? If so plz send me the part code (i dont live in USA) ... one more thing , is the same part available on the s class or dose it have to be a CL part? And will i need a full SW reprograming ?

you have to replace whole system
if you send as your comand unit

Hi . I have s550 4matic 2009 Japan version ! Everything is ok except it says ( Bluetooth deactivated ) and i have only a loose cable in the armrest console ! How to activate Bluetooth ?
I have a CL 550 2007 , I suppose this will work for you (I have as well the loose cable, I assume yours is as mine, the DoCoMo phone cable, if that's the case then you can somehow ignore it)
For the bluetooth, go to "Vehicle" Tab , then "Settings" in bottom left, then "Bluetooth" then "New Device"
It'll ask you for a pass key , enter 0000 for example and press enter, it'll go to another screen, then on your phone, you should be seeing a hands free bluetooth device available (most probably its name will be a MAC address (combination of letters and numbers), choose it (and use 0000 for the pass key if asked), and then you'll find that your phone is connected.
FYI, this will only allow calls, but not music playing or something.
