I own a 1.0L AT Topline. The MID numbers are not very reliable. I maintain a detailed file in excel to keep track of distance travelled, fuel spent, cost etc and all my numbers are based on tank full to tank full method only. In a city like Chennai esp in heavy traffic, there is no way that this car will give anything more 9-10kmpl. I have seen 8kmpl too when I was using RON91 fuel. On the highway, with 5 passengers and fully loaded boot, the max mileage I have got is 14.37kmpl when driving on RON100 (yes, XP100) fuel. These are, in my opinion, still a bit on the lower side. I am hoping that after the first oil change, these will improve 5-10%. if I can get the idle start/stop from the ASC, another 10% increase might be possible.

Sir which petrol you are using regular or octane 95? I am getting 22 as per mid showing at speed of 65-70 kmpl. I am using octane 95 petrol. 1.0l tsi manual.
Important info for comparison. I did mileage test of i20 petrol for around 90kms with avg speed of 45km/h and it gave 22 kmpl tank to tank and your 1.0 automatic gave 15kmpl with 34km/h of avg speed so it’s really good mileage despite offering such power and auto gearbox. Namaskar Sirji, again a very practically🚘 milage done honestly... Sir this was done on six Line national highways.. You got fuel efficiency of 15 kmpl... But if you drive on state highways were two ways roads will be there.. It may drop to 12 kmpl. And in city traffic you have done which was single digit milage.. Thank you I appreciate your valuable content.

They did illegal drag race of their Taigun , checkout their older videos (chances are they might have removed it) . If you abuse your car , then you loose all your credibility to blame the company . Things will wear out like a childs play . I recently did my TaigunGT+ 2nd servicing at 6,500km. I talked to many other Taigun owners, none of them claimed they are facing break noise issue etc etc ...
And you take decisions based on random RUclips videos , thats stupid & crazy at the same time ....

average speed of 5 kmph it will give you avg of 5 kmpl
average speed of 15-20 kmph it will give you an avg of 7-9kmpl
average speed of 20-40 kmph it will give you an avg of 10-14 kmpl
average speed of 40 80 kmph it will give you an avg of 15-20 kmpl(some taigun users have got 24)
above 90+ average decreases to 14 kmpl
so it totally depends on how you drive and driving conditions
if you travelling in city daily at avg speed of 15-20 it will give you 7-8 kmpl
lets say you travelling to another city
your route will be city->highway and highway ->city
city -> highway your average speed was 15-20 which is 7-8 kmpl
highway->city your average speed was 80 which is 15 - 20 kmpl
so your average from your city to other city is
MIN (7+15)/2 = 11 kmpl
MAX(9+20)/2 = 14 kmpl
so dont consider your city milage / bumper to bumper as your milage
if you are getting average of 7-8 on highways then you should complain to company
also tip if you travelling traffic free roads or normal traffic roads dont drive at 15-20 kmph..
try to keep your car at 30-35 kmph you will get great average.
if you have manual car try to keep rmp in between 1200-2000
