Betty Osborne was brutally murdered after she was picked up by four men while walking home in The Pas in 1971. In The Killing of Betty Osborne, The Fifth Estate shows how despite strong evidence available at the time, it took 16 years for the RCMP to lay charges, and in the end only one of the men was convicted of killing the Indigenous teen.
