The weight is wrong, It weights 63 tons. The armor is VERY wrong but it is also unfinished, according to the Russian stream, It suppose to have more armor then the Merkava in real life so I assume its going to the be same ingame
It weight 63 tons because the thing its stupid big. It almost as tall as normal merkava. So all that new structure of course increase the weight of it. It almost have more side armor compare to normal merkava. It almost have like 30mm or 50mm more armor frontally but that is it.

It is known and proudly proclaimed to be “the most well protected apc (or ifv in this case) in the world”. It should be able to stop all apfsds shells that hit the UFP, but I doubt gaijin will include that, since the main Merkavas can’t even do that… The merkavas can survive direct hits to the Kornet irl (1200mm of pen, tandem warhead) and even some to the side, but in game it can pen the merks anywhere… literally anywhere.

I have the KF41, Freecia, and AH129D. I can say that while spikes are easy to use, they are barely effective in game. From my personal experience, I'd say players have about a 40% chance of killing vehicles with these missiles. I really hope this thing gets at least two more spikes in order to help it out.
@@axeavier they are better, even despite the slow speed they are manually guided which means its possible to kill tanks reliably with them if your aim is good + its at 6.7 so it fights ww2 tanks without chemical protection. Spikes are pure rng, not only they have the damage cone of an apcr round but they also struggle hitting tanks, no matter if the target is on the move or stationary. Not even mentioning the fact its a chore to even launch them in the first place, as in order to get a lock the target cant even have a pixel covering it.
@@alkatraz9514 It's super hard to aim when you're only using keys. Then add to that the fact that you get so few missiles. I have used spikes for a long while on the freccia and I agree there can't be any pixels because half the tank needs to be exposed where one would've been better off having a cannon. But unless you've used the Type 60 ATM in RB for at least 10 matches, I don't think you you can really understand how miserable it is to use that machine.

kinda side note but is the kill camera bugged? 7:36 that ATGM flew way high up then the kill cam shows it coming in at almost horizontal angle? ive noticed on hellfires too the kill cam angle always seems oddly never at a real angle when these should be top down attack right?
The name really bothers me. The Israeli community agreed this prototype name is Namer RCWS-30, named after the RCWS-30 remote weapon station it uses. There are at least 3 Namers with a 30mm remotw weapon station, so "Namer 30" is a wierd name choice. Oh yea, and the current armor is a joke. I know it is likely WiP but I would not put it past Gaijin to actually think the 63.5 ton Namer APC widely and proudly proclaimed as the most protected APC in the world has a mere 50mm RHA plate for protection. After all Monke Pooccin said only Pooccian MBTs have good armor and all NATO tanks are made out of cardboard!

My only concern with this thing is that it will be like the KF41 when it was released. Only 2 ATGM's will make it virtually useless ESPECIALLY considering that it will be one of the slowest IFV's

The Namer should have insane armor, which looks WiP at the moment. Should be able to tank 3BM46 and M829 with no issues point blank while being able to moatly tank higher tiered APFSDS at around 700m.

Most vehicles don't carry extra. The Namer RCWS-30 is a testbed for the RCWS-30 remote weapon station and not a service vehicle. When the Namer IFV will arrive in the future it will likely have more SPIKEs.
It does die to a shot to the 30mm ammo, as the highest point on the vehicle makes it quite easy to shoot, as you can hide from the gun barrel but still have that ammo rack exposed round the corner, a bit sad really.

Looking forward to this, shame they didn’t add more for the tree lots of other great and unique vehicles for Israel. Would have preferred the Eitan AFV but fingers crossed that will come in the future. Israeli BR’s are just infuriating, all over the shot.

Spike missiles are trash either way. I'll take the TOW over it any day of the week. It never hits anything critical it's cool that it's fire and forget, but it rarely ever ends in a kill.
As israeli, i never saw this version of the namer, i dont think its existing. I know of 20m main gun , but no missile or something like that. Mabey its future version but not a realone.

@@Tremeslay idk its kinda large for an IFV, Israel doesnt really have regular IFVs or APCs besides some M113's all of their support vehicles look similar to the Namer, if you expect something like the Bradley or BMP they dont have it, as its based on the Merkava MK.IV it should have similar armor.
People really need to understand that the Merkava itself has fairly worthless hull armour. Israel doesn't need to defend from high tech first world rail gun darts. This is a Merkava with even LESS hull armour. Even when done it won't be amazing. This thing is also huge and the 60 ton weight is correct. If you want armour don't play an IFV and don't play Israel.

The namer hull ls literally the Merkava hull and depending on the model can way up to 63.1 t, so the armor is probably not in
It's likely we don't have the armour modelled yet hence why the HE is so potent at the moment, should be considerably more survivable once it is added

This is basically a worse Vilkas: same gun same missiles, half the speed, half the spikes, double the chunkyness
