Hi, I am just in first year of college, and I am thinking of going down the route of cloud/devops/security related to that, is this a good field for a beginner to start with? I don't really want to go the generic route of software developer, I think it's getting very saturated, and I am quite interested in this field. Can you give me some advice? Like what should be my learning path overall, how should I progress, some internship tips or something....... Some advice you think might be helpful.
I don't believe software development or cloud or security are any more or less saturated. Can I ask you to look at what you enjoy doing vs what feels to be popular because whatever path you take you need to be ready to specialise in it for a long time to come. e.g if you enjoy building software that skill will continue to be required as more tech companies are being created globally in most countries. As long as there is software there would be a need to build the infrastructure in cloud for those softwares and secure them. This channel will help you with practical things for cloud security and kubernetes security but if you enjoy software development more focus there and don't get distracted by what anyone else is saying.
