    I have painted my wall once with poster color., the second time with oil paint.. And now im doing it with acrylic paint.. And i feel acrylics are by far the best paint type to work on the walls..

    Hey! i the way you explained few important points very beautifully. I am also self taught artist and tried mandala many times but this time my mind is playing with me for making something big, so will be trying mandala on wall soon, so thanks for sharing pencil idea for making larger circles.     Thank you! i was indeed looking for a video on how to make the circle structure. the tip about the acetone is also quite handy. i have one question for you: how do you remove the pencil's marks from the wall later on, without risking to remove the painting of your newly made mandala? thanks!

      Hi! First off, thanks a lot for watching my video. Once you let your painting dry, not only it becomes water-proof but also smudge-proof. So you can take your basic eraser and rub over the pencil lines without having to be worried about spoiling the painting! :)

    Thank you so much for these tips. I am trying to create a mandala on wall.
    When I try to erase the pencil marks i see lot of smudges on wall. Is there a better way to erase the extra pencil without smudges? Or am I using a wrong pencil ?

    Lovely Video. I want to know is acrylic colour appropriate option for mandala art on wall? Will the colour crack later? I want to know about its durability. Also are permanent markers good for the same purpose? Thanks

      Hi! Permanent markers work just fine but they leave a shine like CD markers do. Acrylic is waterproof and highly durable. You should not find any flakes or chips forming out of the paint. I used acrylic it worked great for me. Gods speed!

      Hello! I think any brand of acrylics will work so long as they aren’t too fluid like. Fevicryl is ideal.

      Yes you can but could be a problem for finer lines

      Varnish wasn’t really necessary. Acrylic stays well on walls :)

    If we want to use some material for wall painting like from which materials are used to draw it what will be your recommendations please tell

      You can use your regular pencil for drawings with details. If you only want a rough sketch then chalk will also work

      Any dark and bright color will work. I suggest olive green, maroon, navy blue. Avoid yellows and other light colors. Black will work too

    Hey you explain things very nicely but please let me know how to dividing measurements bcoz its hard to use Protector for large circle to make 10-12 grids

      You can draw a line passing through the diameter and touching the the radius of your circle. Diving the circle first into 2 equal parts that way and then 4, 8 and so on.

      If the marker is permanent then you shouldn’t worry. I’m afraid I am not aware of any way to make it permanent. But since it’s a simple cupboard, I think it’ll stay for long. :)

    What is the painting done on the wall before doing the mandala art?
    Can a permanent marker be used for walls instead of arcylics? Will it be on the wall as it is for years?

      Hi. There were two coats of Asian Paints. Yes, you can use permanent markers, they’re long lasting. However, they won’t give you the same effect as acrylic.

      Fabric paint works best on porous surfaces such as wood or cloth. Doing it on wall may not be a great idea as it may slide. However, you can do a small patch test to check for yourself.

      It does. You can keep a small bowl of water aside. Dip or clean your brushes if you find it too dry.

    Is markers is good substitute of brush?
    Because i had make my art with pencil or with markers reason behind this is that its difficult to erase my mistake if i opt paints 😅😅
