Thank you very much, the advice was very useful and again it works well, with version 1.33 the empty folder. With the addition of the controller it's fine
Mine always worked but now says It's not a prolific pl2303. Tried on 3 computers and 2 of them recognize the cable and assign it a com port but of course I can't select a com port in the software. Where are you seeing the cable pop up in device manager? Your video is cut off at the bottom so I have no idea where you are seeing it or selecting it. Have installed the tyt usb digital radio driver.
LOL, yes this was helpful. Upgraded from a Dell D800 to a newer HP i7 running Win11. No issues with the Dell and connecting to my MD-9600. However no communication between the radio and the HP because the STM drivers would not completely load. Followed your instructions and problem solved. How in the world did you find this solution? I was having the same problem with CPS version 1.27. I uninstalled it and deleted the USB device in the Device Manager. Then I installed CPS version 1.33 and reinstalled the driver. All is well again.
I have been trying to get this working all day, when I try to install the V1.27 cps all I keep getting is an error message that says couldn't initialize com error 0. I am running windows 11 and have the drivers in thanks to your video any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

After writing the configuration to the station, it reboots with the old data, new ones are not written.
