Never watched. I'm not really interested in supporting a series that tries to make heroes out of monstsers. That's why I couldn't gey into The Sheild, or Breaking Bad.
So a guy being repeatedly raped in prison doesn't make the list, but a woman being sexually assaulted does? Wow, good to know you folks aren't sexist or anything.
The brutality that Gemma caused with her lie was… there are no words for it. What they did to Tig’s kid was just fcking heartbreaking. God I loved and miss that show.
lol, i used to try watching this stuff but I had to laugh because the acting was so terrible and writing was so contrived. Maybe you have to be high to think this is good
@@roggie839he wasn’t tho. Jax assumed he said something which made him go on the run from the club. In reality bro kept quiet. Then he helped Gemma. He was dammed either way honestly but over a misunderstanding.
This is one of the all-time great shows no doubt. I've watched it twice over and probably won't be rewatching it again anytime soon. For as many funny and "light-hearted" moments (I use that term loosely) it has, the raw brutality and suffering you see a lot of the characters experience is really heavy and emotionally draining. Regardless, stellar writing, acting, and directing all around, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
If you approve of the human papaloma virus and syphilis then yea this is a great show , all ita about is how many different women jax can sleep with and still keep his goofy girlfriend tarra that's basically all there is to it besides murdering people thst didn't do anything
I thought a show about a motorcycle gang sounded like trash. Didn't watch it for long long time, then one day I was bored and drunk and said oh what the hell. I was blown away by how good it was.
The fact that you hate her shows that she is in fact a good character. Gemma is not a character you're supposed to like. She's the secret ultimate villain in the whole series. Everything happens because of her. She's a fan favorite because of how well Katey Sagal played her and because of how good the character was written.
How does Opie getting killed in jail not make this list, one of the only I've ever been speechless watching TV, every rewatch of SOA I still hate going thru that episode
Kurt Sutter says in the commentary that he wrote the rape scene of Gemma so intense to "forever bury her Married With Children persona" that, up to that moment Katey Sagal had been best known for portraying.
As a man, I relate to her so much. She comes back sober and realizes her son his in the middle of the madness and she has to find out a way to save her son. I love Wendy!
@@grahamwalden2867unser . hale , darby , john teller , opie , bobby the list goes on my dude although i respect your take i would have to counter with a fair few interesting characters
For all the Opie fans out there, I don't agree that his death belongs here. Opie went out like a champ to save Jax and put up a good fight in the process. It wasn't dark or twisted like some of these others. It was a man saving his brother from a no win situation and going out on his terms. It was gut wrenching, but not one of the darkest moments.
You're telling me Jax having to watch his childhood best friend get his skull caved in by the niners when the guy who caused it was in the room with them isn't completely twisted?
At least once an episode, I found myself either yelling at the tv or damn near falling off the couch due to something i didn't see coming that gave me a jump. SoA was a damn good show, one of the few where I watched the entire series. With that said, I dont think I could watch it again.
SAME! A series has never turned my stomach as much as SOA! I'm re-watching for the first time since it aired and I highly recommend it - everything hits different knowing the ending for characters!!
Ok it might just be me. But watching Clay beat Gemma was traumatic. We see women get roughed up in film often. But a large man punching a woman in the fact with a closed fist is just …..
Gemma established herself as the true evil of the show. Everything that happens bears her manipulations, and direct/indirect actions. She didn’t do anything to “protect her family”. She did it for herself and her own selfish wants. Same as Walter White in Breaking Bad.
WatchMojo has no business making an SOA video!! #1 Opie's death scene in the episode "Laying Pipe" and last words "I got this" isn't included on the list, which is a major blunder. #2 They spelled Tig "Tigg" and the spelled Jax "Jacks". Which obviously shows they aren't die hard fans. Not to be a nitpicky.. but.. Did they research the show via Internet then create a video without actually watching every episode? Yes I think so LOL
As soon as I finished reading the title of the video I immediately knew that scene would be # 1. I've seen horrible things in tv and movies but nothing compares to Tig's agony in that moment, watching powerless as he knows his daughter's about to be burned alive. And it gets 1000x worse once she realizes what's going on and starts desperately screaming for her dad to help her. Just brutal.
I would love to see an SOA prequel that tells the story of a teenage Jax, a teenage Tara, a teenage Opie, a teenage Donna, and a teenage Hale. There's a story there and if it's done right, it would be epic. They could call it Charming.
@@MichelangeloVA i dont remember the show that much anymore, but Tig was always a shady character, especially with Clay. I thought he was gone after killing Oppies wife.
