Rekkles is just one of those few players that, to me, you just believe he WANTS it. Some players I feel like just kind of fell into doing well some splits but to me it was like Perkz, Rekkles, and Caps that you just felt wanted it bad. To me a lot of people in NA can say they want to win worlds and I did believe Doublelift, but you could throw a stone and hit someone that is in LCS for a paycheck. imo Rekkles is proving to the world he wants to try to win a worlds before he retires.
Her English is great but honestly her translations were often missing important details for example in the last question Rekkles specifically mentioned that it must also have been hard for his teammates to accept and play with a foreigner and she completely ignored the translation for that. It's a very important part of his message because it shows that not only are the fans supporting him but his own teammates who are in some ways also sacrificing some comfort to play with Rekkles. There were other notable mistranslations throughout but overall I'm happy they gave them so much times to answer a lot of questions.

Aftet that she really contracted his words so much they lost meaning..

Weird observation - Does rekkles have to hide his tattoos during matches?
It's a bit of a grey area in SK so I think he's mostly just not risking it. Tattoos get blurred on TV there sometimes
Not only in Korea, pretty much in Asia tattoos is looked bad upon. So TV Stations always censor them as to not leave a bad example for underage who watch the shows
Korean media usually censor tattoos (unless it is rated R material) because the majority of Koreans have a negative perspective on tattoos. Media doesn't want to be blamed for putting bad influence on teens. The vast majority of Koreans with tattoos are gangsters, criminals, or trouble makers. That is why there is a negative perspective of tattoos in Korea.
I don't think she is a translator so that is probably why. Translating is much harder than people think.
@@itsgonnabeokay9341 Fair point!
It's also not like she's translating in real time like the translators in LCK. She has to practically memorize his response and say it back in Korean. It's hard to get all the details right that way.
@@imhappy._. How is thar different from what LCK translators like Jeesun does though?
@@lbguitar she's translating as they talk, making sure to not miss any details that may result in mistranslations. That's a massive difference when their response is long and has many details.
Rekkles must be so happy getting to finally play league seriously, west is for fun compared to asia.
Smash play style is the name of there Support.
I mean they are cool but 9/10 is an insane number.
2026 Rekkles and Smash will be in World with Poby in Mid
korean is the easiest eastern languages to learn i think
Indonesian is pretty easy too since it uses the latin alphabet
wow her english was better than i thought. nice.
The dream bot lane, Deft and Rekkles, denied...
Rekkless so nice my man.
She didn't translate Rekkles's words well. He meant that after winning his teammmates would feel better as a team and do better in the future, but she translated his words as " Oh, as we won today now I know my team can win." Imagine how his teammates would feel hearing this from Rekkles! It's as if he was doubting them all that time. Sometimes in Korea they chose interpretors by appearance rather than abilities. That's a problem. Just think how Faker's words in Germany were misinterpreted and how the public reacted. A shock for all. Wow! I had to add this. Aftet that she really contracted his words so much they lost meaning..
She's not a translator.
I'm Korean. Don't worry. Most people think that Martin is a talented, humble player who cares about his teammates. It's an honor to have such a great player playing in the LCK CL. I sincerely hope to see it in the LCK next year.
rekkles is such a cutie patuiti
daddy rekkles, sooo cute
the caedrel korean translation XD
Can riot just hire her for worlds interviews? Just looking back it seems all the translators were never anywhere near her fluidity
It's actually so sad that he has to cover his tattoos..
Why does he have to do that?
@@VikingrMobile Koreans are strict. It's not acceptable
I'm guessing Korea is much more conservative than what most westerners think and they don't like tats , idk i'm theorizing
@@VikingrMobilelikely a brand sponsor's stipulation, it's possible one or multiple dont want to be associated with tattoos. Likely was already written in whatever contract they have even before t1 got Rekkles. Just a guess though
Asians are very uptight about tattoos. Especially more so when you are surrounded by literal kids so Rekkles's full body tattoo can be very offending to their guardians as being a bad influence
레클레스 최고야 항상 너를 응원해 !
This might be a bit farfetched but is it because of his tattoos that Rekkles has to wear a long sleeve shirt whilst smash doesn't?
I'm not gay but damn why rekless is so handsome? Am i insecured? LOL
