I got my pair from StockX too, and one of the things I noticed is that one shoe had super tumbled leather in the toe box, while the other had a smoother plain leather, as well as small differences in overall construction beteween one shoe and the other. I've heard stories of StockX sending one legit, one fake in the same box; but I decided I may be just trippin and attributed these flaws to the usual Nike QC we all know. It's a mass produced sneaker after all.
Ive never had an issue with StockX.... so far lol but i have a variety of sneakers to always do a comparison if i double up through them or get a shoe in similar silhouette. Hell your videos have also helped me do my own verification anytime i buy from a resell or retail site.
It's so easy to cop templates off the market for shoes. That's why they are able to put so many fakes early before a shoe actually drops. But the key is always in the box, material, overall construction of the shoe. It's the small details they never get right that's why i love your vids so much. Cuz every small detail matters when trying to determine if you got resold a fake. Seen way too many videos of these so-called "authenticaticators/authentication process" being sold fakes & passin em still. They dont even take the necessary time to really look over a shoe carefully and as a middle man company charging growing "processing fees" this should definitely be PRIORITY #1 to make sure every component comes with the shoe or a return should be imminent.
I copped the fearless from shoe palace on release day size 12 no stamp in the box either. I also have the UNC to Chicago size 13.5 W copped from SNKRS. the UNC box is smaller. So your good.
Are the tounge tags stitched in and does the R on the tounge have a circle around it is the color of the stock x darker than the original store bought ones 3 ways to spot a fake

I think your into something with that box and the lean test. Hopefully someone who copd a legit pair from Nike/footlocker can help you determine if yours are any good!
@@dgreene853 yes my royal toes from nike, the stitching over the swoosh is almost on top of the swoosh. Like barely a stitch over top of it. Also my pair had quite a bit of glue around the midsole as well.
I hit on snkrs size 13.5 and to be honest ur shoes look real to me... leather quality to shoe tree the same .... but yea the leather patch missing no bueno.....
I know this is a few months old but my shoe laces are different than the ones in yours. Yours look like the traditional Jordan black laces and mine came with slightly different ones. They have a bit of a silky sheen to em. And I know my pair is legit. A few you tuber reviewers complained about these laces, saying they wanted the traditional laces like the ones you got. Not sure if you ever resolved this but just something I noticed when watching.
Well I made a second video and compared it with a fake pair that I purchased . I came to the conclusion that the pair from StockX was completely legit.

Check it out brother. I copped a pair of shoes from snkrs. I saw them significantly cheaper on stockx so I copped them. I waited to get the pair from stockx before I returned them so I could compare them. The ones from stockx looked off. They were very different. I contacted stockx they said it was flaws from being mass produced. Once you cop that shoe from stockx there is no turning back. So if you get a fake I hope you are comfortable with what you paid for it. Maybe you could sell it back. I will never do business with them again sell or buy.

Got mine off stock x and my shoe tree looks the same as yours but I have to pull the box out of storage to check. Shoe tree on my pair is the same and I purchased mine on 2/16. I don’t know if they are legit or not now..
Hey just checked the boxes i have for both pairs that I have in the same size mens fearless 13 and women's unc to chi 14.5 both from SNKRS and the boxes are the SAME size.
I have both shoes you featured on this video, I compared both boxes like u did and mine’s almost same width and length. The shoe trees are the same except that yours don’t have a leather hang tag or maybe it’s in the box. Also both of the boxes have the quality control stickers. My pair of fearless come from nike and the unc come from stockx. The shoe from stockx come with a damage box has tape inside. U can sell it back to them as long as the tag is still attached,cause the prices are goin up on this shoe or email them informed them about the situation on your shoes. Also stockx always put a tag on the left shoe. I hope this would help you. Take care
The different sizing box on a women's box versus the equivalent men's pair will differ in size so that's not an issue. Also the shoe doesnt come with extra laces. Also show the other shoe that got the big tag on it. They used the same red leather from the shoe for it and it feels exactly the same as the toe box

Either way StockX definitely is in the wrong if that tag isnt on it. Cuz that mean the reseller altered the DS pair by removing it or you got sent a fake.

Got mine straight from the SNKRS drop size 11 men and my wife’s pair size 8.5 women came from Hibbetts and all have the same shoe tree and the stamp in the lid. Also mine rock just like yours, but my wife pair doesn’t 🤷🏽♂️ Quality Control I guess. But this is the exact reason if I don’t hit on the drop, I just get the “Cross the Waters” cause at least I know what I’m getting.

Look to see if the shoe tree have the 3 ridges on the inside. The collar of your shoe should definitely feel sturdy as well like it's incredibly well crafted. This shoe in terms of quality probably the best since the Shattereds
My shoe tree has that Chinese symbol and it very prominent. Like even the QF number & Jordan logo down at the bottom is very prominent on the shoe tree. I got mine from Shoe palace. You should be able to feel the tumbled leather as well. Cuz i can definitely feel the ridges on the side leather by the check
It's hard to judge a sneaker if you dont have a legit pair to compare to. It's also hard to trust stockx. I question every pair I copped from them. I havent done business with them for over a year and I dont think I will ever use them again.
And that lean is very concerning it should never wobble that much when pushing down on the back heel. Laid all my AJ1s on flat surfaces just to double check and when you push down on the back tab it should just be a ever so slight downward motion. They should always still feel centered in balance and height.
That goes to show u we put to much emphasis on real and fake. It really boils down to good quality and bad quality. I got UAs and retail and now days you really cant tell.
I think the NC too Chicago r real.and look at the swish on the box.the box is real for sure.but check the stitching and make sure that it's a wide thread and nearly flawless.becacuse.any and all air force one sneakers have damn near perfect sewing.and the thread should look consistent.thought the the shoe 👍

I don't know bruh, but it shouldn't be hard to tell because they smell like a leather glove. I have 2 pair and they don't smell like any other AJ 1 I have. Also they come with a red leather hang tag. Real leather just like the toe box.

I have been collecting sneakers for 27 years, mainly Air Jordans, and many retail boxes were not stamped. I have seen hundreds of fake sneaker boxes that were stamped. You cannot determine if a sneaker is a genuine retail pair or not based on a stamp. These sneakers are mass produced at factories, these are not hand crafted high-end Italian or Spanish designer shoes. Lean test, bro? Jordan Brand does not do a “lean test” for every, if any, sneaker that are made in the factory. No pair is 💯% identical.
I bought some AJ1 wheat and when I went to resell them ..stock x received them and said they were worn...I never put the shoe on..SMH ...Stoxk is Garbage!!!
Now unless the reseller switched out the shoe tree that would be concerning. And the tongue shouldnt be that high up. Maybe it's the sizing that's throwing me off since i wear a smaller size in these. And we know the bigger the shoe, the more janky Nike becomes in terms of quality control especially since this was a Women's exclusive.

yea unfortunately stockx won't do crap about missing laces or hang tags. But the box being damaged is a no no with them. I've had 2 pairs of these, I can tell by the leather and stitching they're gtg. Check the bottom of the shoe and look at the circle with the r inside. If you have any legit pairs of AJ1'S compare. It's a huge difference.

Right off the bat I notice the size labels were way too small on the 13.5 compared to the 12’s in the first part of the video. The box is way too small to begin with and the black nike swoosh on the lid is way too big. It didn’t look like to me it had a hour glass shape in the back and not to mention the Nike logo wasn’t deep enough. Overall I could say it’s definitely a fake, a pretty good one but definitely a fake. Sorry bro

Their motto says it all "we're never sold out" and here's a fact nike can't authenticate sneakers so why would anyone think someone at stock x can. This is why I stopped buying on StockX. I personally haven't had a bad experience but many others have and the new fees just made it easier.

I think the box for the women's sizes is smaller. Even though these were offered in extended sizes.

They could just have some factory flaws. The royal toes I got from nike have some flaws as far as stitching over the swoosh and some other qc issues.
Also the box might be like that because they are a womens shoe... Idk

I just got a pair of UNC Chicago Jordan 1’s from goat but not sure if they are real could someone help me out?
I don't know bruh, but it shouldn't be hard to tell because they smell like a leather glove. I have 2 pair and they don't smell like any other AJ 1 I have. Also they come with a red leather hang tag. Real leather just like the toe box.
Yeah the smell is different than most Jordan 1s. They smell the same as the shattered backboard 3.0.
Will D the top quality fakes don’t have that strong smell like they used to.

Its so tricky these days an in most sneakers i wear a 14 so in my mind i be thinking im safe cause not many fakes come in 14 an like you say what can you do when so many are useing stockx as the bar when it comes to resell pricing an what not but one day i think that stockx shit gone fold big time an be exposed for them fakes on a nationwide level an a fat ass lawsuit will include thousands of people at they ass for they money back
Those are real as hell dawg. I can tell as soon as you pulled the shoe out of the box. It’s a woman’s shoe that’s why the box is a little different. I’ve seen multiple pairs in real life they look a tad bit different from the men’s 1’s. Yours look like any other I’ve seen. I just bought mine from stockx tonight. I have been collecting sneakers for 27 years, mainly Air Jordans, and many retail boxes were not stamped. I have seen hundreds of fake sneaker boxes that were stamped. You cannot determine if a sneaker is a genuine retail pair or not based on a stamp. These sneakers are mass produced at factories, these are not hand crafted high-end Italian or Spanish designer shoes. Lean test, bro? Jordan Brand does not do a “lean test” for every, if any, sneaker that are made in the factory. No pair is 💯% identical.

Now unless the reseller switched out the shoe tree that would be concerning. And the tongue shouldnt be that high up. Maybe it's the sizing that's throwing me off since i wear a smaller size in these. And we know the bigger the shoe, the more janky Nike becomes in terms of quality control especially since this was a Women's exclusive.

those are legit, I have a pair. They look fine to me. The damaged box is BS though. If I were you I'd send StockX a picture. Iv'e gotten 20-50 bucks of my next order.

yea unfortunately stockx won't do crap about missing laces or hang tags. But the box being damaged is a no no with them. I've had 2 pairs of these, I can tell by the leather and stitching they're gtg. Check the bottom of the shoe and look at the circle with the r inside. If you have any legit pairs of AJ1'S compare. It's a huge difference.

Right off the bat I notice the size labels were way too small on the 13.5 compared to the 12’s in the first part of the video. The box is way too small to begin with and the black nike swoosh on the lid is way too big. It didn’t look like to me it had a hour glass shape in the back and not to mention the Nike logo wasn’t deep enough. Overall I could say it’s definitely a fake, a pretty good one but definitely a fake. Sorry bro

Their motto says it all "we're never sold out" and here's a fact nike can't authenticate sneakers so why would anyone think someone at stock x can. That's why a lot of resellers don't touch stock x they've got some agreement to sell UA they're not buying out snkrs app or retailers that's the only real explanation
