I tried to tell you to run that flail over the area after you casted out that grass seed. Too many critters like seed and it helps your germination rate tremendously when you can bust up the dirt some. I guess you can always buy more seed and keep spreading. All those fancy new toys makes farm work almost look like fun. Nice to see the progress. Take care, Bud!

Dan. You won’t need them all, but those cedar trees make for excellent cover for the fish in your pond and now is a good time to do it. If you catch it just right you can drag them out on the ice and as. It melts it will in the spot you like. Of course, be sure to tie a concrete block to your trees so they don’t float all over the lake and remember the rule of thumb. Stock 5 bait fish for every predator you stock in the lake. Good luck and good fishin.

My wife and I are on a lot of land. And our property had way too many cedar trees. Cedar will steal all the water and prevent other trees from growing. However, due to cedar is rot resistant. We had well over 100 mature cedar trees milled up. I made a sauna and lined all the closets in our house with the milled cedar. Also, used it as siding on the firewood shed. A shed the size of a barn to house motorized equipment. Most of that structure is cedar from the property. We gave our neighbor a mile down the road the remaining milled cedar. Which he used. But if you leave cedar in the ground to mature. It will eventually kill off other trees and vegetation.

Where did the dog come from? When it comes to cedars, the Mills Creek property and Dusty's Ponderosa property have the same problem. They are everywhere! I laughed so hard at DeJay's video of Earl howling! Yep, he's yours now! I'm guessing Bear has not attacked Earl again since he was snipped. Good deal! The sheer fact RJ let you touch him is impressive! I realize DeJay considers the alpacas and mini donkeys hers, but they recognize that you are the one who feeds them. Yes, DeJay spends time with them and feeds them treats, but you make sure they have food and water everyday. Age is a part of life. I know you're there for all of the animals...even the roosters. Thank you for another great video!
