Walking in SOPOT / Poland - Monte Cassino to Pier - 4K 60fps (UHD)

- Sopot is located between Gdynia and Gdansk as part of the Tricity area in Northern Poland. In summer the city is a popular vacation spot on the Baltic Sea.
We start today's walk at the train station and enter the walking street Monte Cassino. This walking street is the most lively part of Sopot. We see the famous Crooked House there, which houses some cafés and nightclubs. Further down to the sea we walk on to the long wooden pier into the Bay of Gdańsk.
We turn around and go back to the train station ending this walk on a spring afternoon. Summer starts a bit late in Sopot, yet together with Gdansk it's worth visiting when you are in the area.

My favorite moment is when you pass this great MOLO inscription and you see nothing but the sky and the sea on the horizon. This view really captivated me.

Love these walking tour vids especially the ones of Polish cities of which i have frequented many times before. My abiding memory of Sopot was when i visited it for the second time and it had just snowed heavily leaving it looking like a winter wonderland . With the snow and a nights stay at the famous Grand Hotel resulted in one of my favorite days i have ever spent in Poland.

Kiedy tam mieszkalam , to uwielbialam Sopot wlasnie poza sezonem , taki wyciszony , mniej komercjalny . Wcale nieprzeszkadza , ze "nie ma slonca " to miasto jest piekne zawsze, nawet w deszczu . Dziekuje Poptravel ...
I recommend Sopot - beautiful beaches - very cheap, they cook tasty and people are very nice and especially kind. I recommend everyone to come to Sopot and visit Gdańsk, Gdynia, Malbork immediately.

Thank you! I will and hopefully will travel to these places soon. Yesterday I walked in 3 cities: Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Mainz as I'm on the Frankfurt airport now. I've been to all these countries you mentioned before - yet took photos back then. For now I'm on my way to South East Asia, plan to visit a few places from Bangkok to Borneo. If I find some sponsorship I can extend the travel time, maybe I'll start a Patreon yet the channel is too small for now to make it commercial and I give it some time.

Many people suggest Torun which I hopefully see soon. As for tourism Krakow is surely #1 in Poland. Nice cities are also Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan. @@Tomek_Zyla For tourism in my opinion Krakow is the most interesting. Less touristic cities like Poznan and Wroclaw are my favourites though. Warsaw is great and smaller Gdansk aswell - always happy to be there.

Byłem w Sopocie blisko 10 razy latem, ale nie udało mi się w tym roku. Istnieje już wiele letnich filmów o Sopocie. Moim zdaniem jest to interesujące w dowolnym momencie - nawet pokazując, jak miło jest w zimie, gdy niewielu turystów przyjeżdża. W rzeczywistości byłem kilka dni temu w Sopocie i wkrótce opublikuję film ze świątecznymi światłami.

I've been tho Sopot close to 10 times during summer though didn't manage this year. There are many summer videos of Sopot already. From my view it's interesting in any time - even showing how nice it is during winter when few tourists come. In fact I was in Sopot just days ago and will post a video with festive lights soon.
