When I was 8 my family went on a boat ride (we live by the lake). I thought I saw a blue tail going into the water. It was too big to be a fish. A few years later I was net fishing from my dock. Something way too heavy for me to pull up got stuck in it. For a split second I thought I saw a girl. That winter I feel through the ice, and it was like someone was pushing me up. The summer after that I got stuck under a tube. When I couldn’t hold my breath anymore I realized that I could breath (for a few seconds anyway). Then my brother pulled the tube off.
After these experiences I always believed in mermaids and most likely always will

I loved watching the mermaids but my best part was learning about Coney Island, I grew up going to Coney Island almost every weekend in the summer. We used to break nite in the sand. There is a clip on here of someplace in another country. Someone is photographing a creature sitting out of the water, on a rock, from a distance, by the sea. It looks like a mermaid to me. At some point, the creature spots the cameraperson, and immediately wiggles off the rock into the ocean. It wiggles into the water much , much quicker that a human in a costume. It should have been included here. Whatever it is, it looks to be real , but non person-like. Look it up, I haven't looked for it in 5 years. The video work is good. It doesn't look like a blur, like many of these strange creature clips. This is clear, and has a human like face.
