What's happening troops and troopettes? I've been so busy for the last few weeks and just wanted to build up a good few videos to binge so this is the first. The thumbnail alone is the most attractive thing ever and can't wait to try if I'm quick. *JUST FOR NOTIFICATION* Please NEVER stop using that guitar intro for your output😉 thanks for your output, it is always beautiful and jealous-inducing when it comes to your surroundings 😂❤️💚🧡
Hello, Thank you for posting this. My thought is you should let the raspberries and lilac blossom mixture stay in the liquid when you are cooling. This will ensure more flavor. After 20 mi uses then dicard solids.
A beautiful recipe, I'm listing this for when spring comes back around in the hillside of South Aust! Would local honey work as an alternative to sugar?
It's more accurate to say "no added sugar". Raspberries have sugar. And there is some nectar in the lilacs. It seem picky, but for a diabetic the distinction is important.
I love your videos and recipes but not sure why you would want to make this sugar free? The sugar acts as a preservative, so does this not reduce shelf life? yes sugar is bad but xylitol and other sweeteners are as bad if not worse - Prof Tim Spector is doing some great research on “natural” sweeteners and how they negatively impact the gut microbiome. When extracted from plants and not in their natural form they are as alien to the body as other processed foods. For me the choice is unrefined sugars but very moderate consumption
Hi Helen 🙂 We have so many sugar free recipe requests on all our recipes so we thought we'd make a few sugar free versions. Personally we don't mind abit of sugar in moderation and we actually have to use it to preserve our things we make for ourselves throughout the year. Using sweetener dose reduce shelf life but for how long we don't know. Thanks for your comment ✌️😁

Is she Welsh? Judging by the name VERY likely not but she has a Cerys Matthews sounding voice.

How fun, thank you! I laughed with the neighbor's garden for lilacs or the therapeutic activity of plucking off all of the flowers.

Awesome! 😁
thanks for share this interesting information
What good vibes, love it.
✌️😁
Surely it contains some plant sugars?
try adding a Tbsp of apple cider vinegar for an added 'punch' flavour! :)
Will do 😁
Have you tried doing it without the peels? I feel like it might be a lot tastier
also, I have tried this with liquid stevia (3-4 drops/cup) after straining and it also tastes great!
Wow never heard of the liquid version!!
Great recipe, can't wait to try it.
Do you store it in the fridge or leave it at room temperature?
How long will it last?
In the fridge lasts about a week or two 🙂
You can can this but with sugar and will last for good year

Would local honey work as an alternative to sugar?

Looks tasty but far from sugar free! The raspberries themselves contain sugar naturally, and then you stir a cup of sugar into the blend!
That's xiltol not sugar! ✌️🤣
