I love so much travelling that it's not only the destination but also the airline that i fly with. I'm a marketing student with a passion for airlines and i have to give thumbs up to KLM! Great Customer Relation Marketing really one of the best airline in europe!
I'm really surprised with this... It's a major great lesson to marketing professionals all over the world, in all segments. Most of the times they are not so sure what to do with the social medias... so they keep spend lots of money with no consistent return. It's a lesson that in modern times we can get back to basic and make the difference. So small and so so so great!!! The best!!

Its really a nice way of tapping the potential of Social Media quite innovative and touching. I hope you treat all your customers the same way because social media can be adverse also as seen in the comments below. Haha, they choose me. My boarding pass was bleeping at Schiphol and 2 steweredesses came to me. They also gave me a really cool book, so keep up the good work!
this cost them a couple hundred bucks at most, some gifts, some people searching the passengers, camera crew. and look how much positive attention they get by releasing a 5 minute video. just very clever marketing
i flew with them many years ago great airline ! but what a great idea !!! would be nice for large companies to treat people like people not as just a number ! i mean little things mean a lot !!
This video has taught me two things; more airlines should be like KLM to show they care, since air travel is very stressful these days, and that the Dutch are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L people!
@whirlmkfan The visa I could have bought where I middle landed, and even 50 meters from the checkpoint in the Havana airport. So no that was not the problem.
I really Love KLM , their flight attendants are always so Nice and schiphol is the Best AirPort in Europe for me to, much better then Grey Frankfurt or Heathrow.
ooh exciting...so knowing that i like to arrive on time and have clothes to wear and not like being sworn at by customer services should help KLM surprise me by not losing my bags in Amsterdam every time i fly with them
Schiphol Airport has one of the worst customer service records of any airport I have been to in my life. Being the hub for KLM, I don't know how KLM is still one of the top inter-continental airlines in the world.
How about a little act of kindless like paying for my hotel? I was stranded in Schipol. My KLM flight from Dublin was late, as a result I missed My KLM flight to Kuala Lumpur. KLM took no responsibility. Not so Kind...... Amsterdam is cold in January..

this campagin put smile on my face. Its funny and indeed they suprised people. so stop nagging about "stalking " and stuff. KLM is at least trying to make flying even nicer. and NOOOO i dont work for KLM, i just like this experiment!

Based on the comments, it's clear that KLM has treated social media as a campaign and not as a channel for improving its relationships and being willing to fundamentally change the way they DO business.
So if I send a message on Twitter do you think KLM will give one of their Aircraft Engineers a pay rise this year as we haven't had one since 2012. Cost of living in the Netherlands up by 5.8% but no movement on pay. '' There's no money '' they say, but they can do all this shit !!!!!!
