Man I remember when Thom was way less playful lol. On the OKC tour he bitched out Ed so hard the crowd gasped, collectively. Awesome to see them having fun-thanks.

@@violethill4454 sure! It wasn’t the OKC tour that was my bad - it was just after amnesiac had come out. They played a spectacular show at the gorge in Washington 2001 (you can find that show on RUclips) then went on to Vancouver BC, and me and my buds followed them.
There was an online petition to get them to play “nude,” which they had played on the OKC tour.
About 3/4 of the way in, Ed fucked up royally, playing the right chord pattern but the entirely wrong chords. Thom stopped the band, turned to Ed and said “the songs OVER. You were playing the wrong FUCKING chords.”
I’ve never heard thousands of people collectively gasp like that.

In case you can find the video, on october 4th in mexico city, Thom forgot the lyrics for The Bends and just babbled throughout the song. (I kinda think he was trolling because several times while speaking to the audience, he was also just babbling and checking the audience's response)
I wonder of he sometimes just pretends to forget the words to some things because he just wants not to be serious atm ;)
