Well overall I cover anywhere from 4-8 miles but around the general area. If I'm not catching I move. I look for bait ,mud stirs , and signs of movement on the water. If I'm not seeing anything I go back to basics and hit the channels, points or waterflow areas. That's the advantage of kayaks you can move around like the fish. Sometimes I get lucky and get a Limit quick but I like to enjoy the water and move around
Well the trick is to stop and fish allows you to rest. I've gone as far as 13-14 miles but I make sure to rest and keep a easy pace that doesn't wear you out. Tight lines out there

How much territory do you cover mile-wise. Do you stay in the general area?
