They actually operate SIN-MNL 4x daily and they have the right choice of aeroplanes for the route by using a wide body plane unlike PR which uses A320-214 A321-231WL and A321-271N. The latter type is actually seen with Singapore Airlines under Scoot brand. SQ912 has NYC passengers from both SQ23/25 the much later SQ918 has EWR passengers on SQ21

The flight was definitely full enough to warrant the 787!

@pointyend-secrets you are correct also the A350-900 Regional configuration and the last option is an Airbus A380 just like what EK did in 2014.

I think we've taken barista stations for granted at airport lounges, we're too spoilt down under! But I noticed barista coffee sucks in Singapore and always find the beans to be too overly roasted. Terminal 2's SK lounge has always been under whelming even before the renos, simply because of the lack of natural light. But the food is always welcome. SQ has not given amenity kits in Business Class for a long time, long or short haul. Thanks for rekindling my memories of SQ!

Totally spoilt! Even in Singapore I had to hunt down drinkable coffee! Hah.
Food was great but I wouldn’t be heading back to that lounge in a hurry! We did get amenity kits on our inbound flight from Melbourne!
I could never get enough of SQ, glad I could share that love with you!

I really ❤your work. I'm amazed with the availability of business SQ through velocity. I'm off to Jakarta to visit Gunung Padang in Feb 24 and managed SQ business class from Melbourne return.

Thank you for the video! It was very informative. I plan to fly Singapore Airlines from Adelaide to Singapore for a concert on New Year's Eve this year. So this video was perfect for me. I'll be travelling alone so I'll be sure to book an even numbered window seat 🤗

You definitely want that window seat on your own! Feels incredibly private. I have another video on this seat which will be out in a few months, but it’s a boring overnight flight!

@@pointyend-secretsI'll be happy to watch your new video! Especially because my flight home from Singapore to Adelaide is a night flight 😊

Not sure exactly, but if you go on eBay and search “Mini USB Fan Flexible Portable” I think you’d get close!
