Sounds good. My father had an exercise book where he had everything thing listed that we needed to know, including phone numbers to ring to cancel things, etc. It had his plan for his funeral with all details included. He had been a list maker all his life and this book made winding up his affairs so much easier.

I have been going through my stuff like crazy because I don’t want my children to have to deal with any of that after I am gone. It hurt me so deeply to go through my parents stuff and they passed away one month apart and to this day I am still struggling with it.
Really good video, we all should prepare so we are not a royal pain to our children when we pass. I have not heard of this specifically but will check into it.

That is exactly what I am dealing with right now. My mom died last month, was very vocal about how she wanted things to happen after her death but didn’t put anything in place to help us make it happen. So now I’m heartbroken with piles of things to go through. 😢

Hi Gwen - your channel just popped up. Probably because I love love love decluttering channels. The NOK box looks great. I already have a file cabinet that I have made folders like those. But I like the fact that the NOK has the description papers! I'll have to check that out. So - it's really fire proof? Because it doesn't look like a metal type of box. Fire proof is what I need. Or a safe - hahaha. I have gotten rid of a lot of my possessions. But paper is my nemesis. Ugh. If there is a flat surface.....it just attracts clutter. Happy 4th of July.
Thank you so much for watching! The website says it's fireproof. It's a soft-side box that has a coating on it. I believe that's what makes it fireproof. I looked at other options online but the ones I looked at didn't have the metal rack. The rack enables the hanging folders to move easily. The description papers make the system GOLD in my opinion. Paper is my nemesis, as well. I talk about that in one of my other videos. I have to be super intentional with papers. Lol. I hope you're having a festive 4th! I appreciate your comment! Thank you!
I’m in the process of creating “My Death” notebook with all the information of my life- banking, assets, passwords, the will, etc. After dealing with parents deaths and no guidelines from them I swear not to do this to my kids!
Hi Gwen! New subscriber! I found you through Beautiful Life Sage! First, I haven’t even finished your video yet but your personality drew me right from the start! I have experience unfortunately in having to clean out a home and belongings of a loved one. It was my mom and it was extremely difficult. Because of that experience, I’ve been more conscious about what I have or collect so my children will not have to experience this additional type of grief. Awesome topic, difficult but important. Thank you for sharing! Now, I will continue watching 😂
