Testing this rather affordable A8 UHF wireless transmitter-receiver for electric guitars, bass guitars, acoustic guitars & violins straight into a Cube Baby multi-effects device by Cuvave/M-Vave. It is also worth noting that the same item is also sold under the "Lekato" brand name on some platforms.
Of course, nothing beats a proper guitar cable! But, despite a bit of loss in fidelity & definition, the A8 pretty much does the job on allowing you to cut through the mix in a band setting. It also cleans up nicely on a saturated guitar tone whenever the volume knob is dialed down. Plus, you'll look fancier on stage too with the guitar strapped on as well.
For direct monitoring from the 'cube baby', I'm using an ATH-M20X headphones by Audio Technica. However, a parallel out also directly coming from the 'cube baby' itself goes to the audio input of my phone, which is just an old Samsung J6+ unit. And, upon transferring the 'ATH' into the 'J6' for previewing, there really isn't much variance at all. BUT, soon as I've watched the file/video from my desktop, which drives a pair of Bose Companion 2 Series II monitors, the discrepancies in audio quality is fairly large. Apparently, the 'ATH' trumps the 'companions' this time around, though.
Hence, quite likely, the tone you'll be hearing from your end may not give justice to how i've heard the pedal when i had it tested through my own system.
