Everyone including Dhoni thought that he will be the most explosive batsman in ODIs and he also was decent in bowling. But then his role was not defined and Yusuf just continued to be a blind slogger and lost his place due to bad scores. Pure strikers of the ball are gold in ODIs/T20, and BCCI needs to take good care and define their roles and keep them specially trained. When I see Hardik in current WI series, I see Kohli using him same like Yusuf as a slogger, which is not good for his future. If he keeps getting out for 10s and 20s, fans and BCCI will forget him soon.
@manthan - Irfan is another story. He was badly coached and asked to change his bowling action making him slower, then Irfan had injuries and after that he also didnt improve his game. So total waste of a talent.
Hardik was so sweet here. Just a normal guy, fun and full of energy. I honestly think kwk incident was so out of character. I hope it’s a wake up call for him and he fixes his attitude back to how it was here
