Peter was taking a vacation day!!!
One of my 33 year old Appaloosa horses is blind and mostly deaf, but she navigates the 10 acres of pasture and gets back to the lounging shed just fine. Of course, she has lived in the same area for about 20 years, and knows where everything is.

I saw that, too, but thought that they must have been aware of what they are doing. These lovely people have gone to such great lengths to care for this blind mare. Why would they be so careless in this regard. If you notice, the mare keeps to a steady path and not deviating much.

Most blind people would still have enough vision to see approximately where the door is (because of all the light coming in flooding what little vision they have like a camera with no focus).

How do the horses sleep in that small stall?
A BLIND horse needs a more snug space to feel safe. Not a tight space. And it can't be a very small space if Denny-- the buckskin horse-- can fit in there with Luna -- the white blind horse. Just shows how aware horses are of the needs of the other horses/animals around them.
Is Petey sad?
So is this a second or third Petey and Luna channel? I’m subscribed to all P&L channels that comes up on my notifications, just to keep track and this seems to be the third one because I haven’t yet subscribe to it. So what’s going on with you guys? Is it just one original channel that has fragmented into to others? that hardly makes sense. Why don’t you give us the truth, since we are loyal subscribers.
