I learned so much on this video! Love the different moods and how to achieve it. Gave me ideas with my photo friends to do another project. Can't t wait to try it. Don't have those kinds of lights but I got ideas to use in place. (light wish list) Thanks for teaching us!!!
so i bought C1 (2023) before they went to the subscription service. ive tried editing images in it and i find they look almost identical to edits i put in them with LR. im hoping to use it strictly for tethering if i can get into portrait/beauty/fashion work but there doesnt seem to be much market for that around me good video. i like how you add to the image and then add to it and then add to it again. very clearly stated and great explainations
I so admire your work Lindsay! So the backdrop sweep...if working with two (a backdrop and a floor like shown) I struggle with thinking I have to remove the line where they meet for full legnth shots. Am I the only one? Thinking I would save time (and my sanity) if I let it go. Is there an over under tip that works best for keeping such a clean look, or am I sweating the small stuff?
@gravitybackdrops, I'm torn between the mid-grey and dark grey. Would it be wiser to choose the neutral grey, knowing that I can easily add a curves adjustment in post? Is it easier to go lighter, than darker on these drops (without sacrificing the texture)? Oh, and LIndsay rocks (again)!
Hi, this backdrop is likely a one of a kind, "limited edition" backdrop. We are unable to give you the exact details. Hi Lindsay !!! ... Greetings from Xalapa, Veracruz. México !!! ... I have three questions: The background light seems to be a "Continuos Light" ... Why ??? .. Why not a strobe ??? ... Which is the advantage of mixing continuos and flash lightning ??? ... Btw, the gray backdrop is beautiful and adds a nice "Atmosphere" to the images !!! ... A big hug !!!
I don’t know how this lady has time to sleep. It seems like she puts out a new, sleek, and informative video every day.
Lindsay is extremely gracious with sharing her knowledge!

These backdrops look great -- and add an amazing dimension to the shots. The 4-light shot --- wow! That's crazy good. Love the final edit; well done!

I usually 'let it go' :D
@@lindsayadlerphoto can you provide insight on what type floor material this is? is it another gravity backdrop, or something else? Thank you.

Mid Grey would be easier to work with if you are considering this part of your post production process.
The Best!
Enjoyed seeing you at Imaging USA in Nashville.
Thanks for stopping by!
What size diameter PVC pipe are you using to attach the gravity backgrounds to?
Hi Ray, we talk about that in this video: ruclips.net/video/H6nqG6AsydU/видео.html
